Re: Commodore's C64 Ultimate Could Be Delayed Thanks To Trump's 'De Minimis' Policy Change

@The_Nintendo_Pedant The only thing you have accomplished here is exposing your own one-sidedness, irrational takes on current events, and political extremism. I guess that's your problem though, not mine.

Honestly the politics around here in general are cringy and an embarrassment, gaming sites should really try to stay away from it. This is supposed to be a retro gaming site, I shouldn't know people's politics around here.

@Scollurio People having an odd obsession with Donald Trump and trying to blame all the world's problems on him is nothing new unfortunately, it's just the way some people are when it comes to anything over the past decade, they'll quickly jump on any opportunity to blame and complain no matter how lame of an excuse it might be, it's just all about jumping on any excuse to swing at the bad orange man they hate so passionately.

With this, it's obvious how this is just some lame attempt to blame politics for a simple business issue.

Re: Evercade Seller Funstock Freezes US Orders Until Further Notice

@BausRifle Yeah what are they talking about? The US is easily one of the biggest markets for electronics and entertainment, to the point to where it's hard for anything to really succeed without the US market. I haven't seen anything outside of niche products intended for foreign markets not get sold out here, and even then there's always importers who seem to offer anything.

I think this is not looking good for Evercade. I bought a lot of their games and handhelds in the past but if their official support is going away like this I doubt it's going to do well in the long run.

Re: ZUIKI Cancels X68000 Z Super And X68000 XVI IndieGoGo Campaign For Western Fans

Never really saw the appeal of this thing. It always seemed absurdly expensive for what it is and I could never really figure out what I would do with one either. Seems like the sort of thing I would just mess around with for a couple of hours for the novelty then never use again. Considering how this costs as much as serious modern PC's that I could see myself using daily for no shortage of things, it's like why bother with this? Seems like the market would be extremely limited, especially given how obscure it is as a gaming platform, one that I have a hard time seeing many people having any real software or experience with, especially in the west.

Re: Trump's Tariffs Have "Changed Everything" For Makers Of Essential Retro Gaming Gear

@avcrypt Yeah I just think it's ridiculous to get all bent out of shape over some luxury electronic goods maybe going up in price when the price for necessities has gone up so dramatically in recent years. Like I wouldn't expect this site to be covering global economics but then again they did suddenly feel a need to make an article directed at criticizing American foreign policy.
