Re: Cotton Reboot! High Tension! Is Finally Coming To The West, Along With Switch 2 & PS5 Versions Of Cotton Reboot!

Fighting_Game_Loser

@NicolausCamp Yeah I do suppose that, which obviously a lot of LRG's scandals they've had behind the scenes are bad but I think that was mainly because of Josh, which he's out now so I hope it does improve. My main issue is that at least even SLG, as slow as they were before they started fixing things up recently, you knew how much stock they had and kept it on their website to buy whenever you want (which is something Super Rare Games does as well and is how I got one of their Cotton bundles funnily enough), but LRG you gotta preorder or else you miss your chance, unless you want to hope it will be put on Amazon or have a chance with the Vault, is to buy it secondhand (or via VGP since they are cool and get shipments of them). I can only hope that they maybe expand to more retail releases in the west, because I would like to get some of their releases without any major pressure

Re: Talking Point: "We, The Consumers, Need To Vote With Our Wallets" - The Moral Dilemma Of Supporting SNK In 2026

Fighting_Game_Loser

Think with SNK it's probably something that just not going to have a clear answer, because the Saudi Prince is evil, but SNK won't, and will never, significantly enrich them. So not supporting SNK just can also mean that SNK is the one that gets screwed over, and the Saudi Prince just works on the actual big stuff, or heck just buying Nintendo and Capcom stuff could enrich them more than SNK since they just own stocks. Really I can't ever be a person that can go out looking to change people's minds, but all that I'll say is that SNK is owned by an evil man, but supporting SNK does not mean you are making an evil man more successful. If anything, EA probably should get more attention for a boycott if the acquisition for them goes through, or really, inspire some people to make change in the world outside of video games, because real world actions are stronger than the wallet.

Re: "War Is Not A Video Game" - White House Social Media Post Mixing Iran War Footage With Nintendo's 'Wii Sports' Triggers Outcry

Fighting_Game_Loser

Surprised that this comment section isn't disabled, might as well comment while I still can.

I hate whenever the White House just tries to use gaming stuff to make themselves seem hip and cool so that way they can try and make people just lap up all of the stupid stuff they say. Like it's not even subtle propaganda, it's just dumb. Arguably not the worst thing the US government is doing, but it's just more garbage to add already on top of the pile of trash they spew out of their mouths and social media pages.

Re: Random: Excited About the Virtual Boy's Re-Appearance? Why Not Check Out This New Footage Of Its Winter CES Unveiling

Fighting_Game_Loser

Very cool to see this footage emerge, especially since this us probably now all of the footage of VB Mario Land's demo preserved, at least in video form! Such an awesome thing, very glad to see the VGHF still doing their amazing work.

@rob7979 Lol I pre-ordered the Headset too, and I was negative 9 years old when this released so I have literally no nostalgia for the system, but have gained a modern appreciation for it, especially thanks to people like Jeremy Parish who just reviewed the games for what they were, even have his Works book for the system. But I can definitely realize with how much random stuff Nintendo was trying to do around that period, they really did not have the resources or commitment to try and make this work, even when just from design it was already at a huge disadvantage

Re: Reports Suggest Arcade1Up Is Shutting Down

Fighting_Game_Loser

Not really surprised, once they basically stopped doing any new games or anything interesting with their line-ups, not to mention their extreme prices they made them in later years, which does suck since they were the reason a lot of older games were able to get re-released in so long, but I think companies are realizing that most people just want to play them on modern systems, along side Arcade1Up diminishing in quality and relavence, and yeah it's not surprising they might be closing.

Re: SNK Shadow-Drops Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 To Debut Its New 'Premium Selection' Label

Fighting_Game_Loser

Really cool Real Bout 2 is getting this type of rerelease. Basically the most in-depth Fatal Fury with it's two lane system before Garou became SNK's default standard. I hope it comes to Switch or Switch 2 with cross play because I would be more than down to try and have my ass handed to me by the people who actually love and have grinded this game in the background for years lol

Re: One Of The Virtual Boy Games Coming To Switch Is "Worth $10,000"

Fighting_Game_Loser

Honestly glad both this and Space Invaders are both coming because both those two are part of the 4 VB Shiteno (at least as Jeremy Parish refers to them) because they are just cool super rare inclusions to see. Would be even crazier if we got the last few remaining titles like Virtual Lab or Virtual Fishing but great none the less, just wish we could at least buy them to play without NSO with the accessory but that's neither here nor there lol

Re: Random: "That's Wild" - The Fact That Two French Devs Didn't Play Nintendo As Kids Appears To Have Upset Some People

Fighting_Game_Loser

I can very easily tell who doesn't know even has a very slight knowledge of video game history and this is a very obvious self-out on this front lol. Even when I was young I knew that Nintendo didn't dominate in Europe so it makes sense that both of these devs didn't grow up with Nintendo systems, especially LizardCube's CEO. Hardcore Sega fans usually grew up with them solely in childhood so if anything I wouldn't of wanted them to have a Nintendo if it didn't lead us to their line up of Sega reboots we've been seeing

Re: Some Fans Have Issues With Gradius Origins, And They Have A Point

Fighting_Game_Loser

I do think it sucks that some of the later Gradius titles aren't included, but the collection itself seems cool. I mean the fact we're getting a new game overall kinda makes up for the lack of other titles for the time being. The console versions are cool, but this is in a similar boat to the Capcom Fighting Collections where they aren't seen as the base definitive version, probably more so for these considering most versions of these titles have pretty much almost the same content. My only real issue is that this collection is kinda expensive compared to Konami's other collections, but I guess I should of assumed this as such since it's being developed and priced like a ShotTriggers release

Re: True "All-In-One" MiSTer FPGA Multisystem 2 Console Is Coming In 2025

Fighting_Game_Loser

I think the FPGA space is pretty cool with what is currently available with MiSTER and stuff, but I just don't really want to buy a MiSTER to download a whole bunch of ROMS, which I already prefer not to do in most cases, when with what I want software emulation gets it done for free. But I am much more interested in the FPGA devices that still act as normal consoles with the original mediums that they had like Analogue's products, so having a big all in one system that plays all types of cartridges, cards, and discs would be awesome and something I would definitely be wanting to get if it has a range to play almost everything possible physically

Re: Polymega Gets Classic Arcade Games Via Physical "Polymega Collection" Series

Fighting_Game_Loser

This is honestly a super cool way to release arcade games for a system like this. Obviously the digital market for arcade titles is much more accessible for people, but the PolyMega obviously leaning towards physical collectors makes this a super smart way to sell arcade games for a system that obviously can't connect physical arcade hardware, so selling them almost like little collections makes it a really cool way to make these more substantial. Its especially cool that they add console versions as well for all titles as well because I think that only helps to give context to the arcade titles and how they were portrayed differently at home.
