LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I have been wanting this to be ported for the longest time and thought it simply wouldn't happen. I'm so glad that they got it to all work out! I didn't even think of them using the Sega Racing Classic name to being it back! Hopefully with the fact that they brought it back and that they were able to do model 3 emulation, that Scud Race could come back next
I actually just happened to pick up a PSP 3000 just a couple a weeks ago and I'm having a great time with it so far. I always thought it was such a neat looking system that had a lot of awesome looking games that I feel like nobody talks about fondly in this day and age, while I honestly think they're far for intriguing to me than a lot of the PS2's line-up imo. It has so many cool big budget adventures and experinces, while also being a perfect system that had the ability to breed new experimental games.I haven't gotten much use yet out of its video and music features yet but I really want to because it would be neat to have a bunch of movies and Youtube videos I love at my finger tips. It's certainly a system I'm ready to explore and I'm glad Sony is bringing a lot of them back on PS4 and 5
God this is so sad. The fact that so many games are under such a threat to be lost is such a unfortunate circumstance that I'm glad the world of gaming has the community that it does. Weither it's people taking the time and dedication to look for and dump roms, go and research the development behind games, people making videos to shed light on smaller games, and especially the people developing emulators to make sure these games can still be played by everyone, the video game community cares so much about it's history that it easily does more than the people and companies that made them
Glad to see Sega still acknowledging OutRun 2 considering it's been gone for almost 15 years now. Hopefully it sees a rerelease again one day. Not to play down the actual charity event. Any one of these events like GDQ is always great to see for people in need
Pretty neat looking collection. Hopefully its priced well, and many Strictly Limited Games has such awesome Collectors Editions. Way better than most Limited Run Games collectors editions amd are priced much better
Oh hey, I remember playing one of these out in the wild! It was at a campground I went to with my family a few years ago. It was there along-side a Motor-Raid, I think another racing game, a DDR machine, and a deluxe House of the Dead cabinet. I really thought the mix of light gun shooter and racing game was very interesting. Would be cool if I got the chance to try it again if I ever see it
Actually, Yacht Club did announce a Shovel Knight 64 years ago if I remember, but for the Commodore 64 lmao. Still have no idea if anything came of that or if it was just an April Fool's joke
Bro this is amazing to see. So many iconic and quality mobile titles have been lost to time because of the 64-bit update. Great to see that we're finally getting proper emulators that can play all of these classics
Man, this sucks big time. I always wanted the Master System book and I just picked up their Amiga book for a good price (me being an American means that their books are pricer than I would hope), so it suck that their book got shut down. It's odd that Nintendo is ok with their books while Sega takes them down, because I bet everyone would believe it to be the other way around.
The Amico coming out now after all of this would be one of the biggest underdog stories ever because the Amico is probably one of the most vaporware things in recent memory now
I think this might be the one of the most baffling ideas I've ever heard. This thing sounds like that one console that had the card scanner (obviously not as stupid as that whole system but still a very dumb idea), and it being NFT's make it even more so. Imagine harming the environment so much by buying one little video game
