I think someone will do a better job. Should spark more competition for accuracy.

@Daric Agreed or the genie is out of the bottle as it were. 👍

The ball is in the court of the Modretro 64 now.

But isn't there supposed to be issues with the Superstation One? 🤔

"All assets in the game are handmade. My stance on GenAI? It somewhat works as a coding assistant, [but] it shouldn't get into art, in my opinion."

Yep, the best practice.

I think he has the right mentality about AI. I agree on this points, it shouldn't be used to code the game so much as to ask for assistance with certain tasks.

I like projects such as this.

There's a lot of Amiga games that need a frame rate upgrade as well.

That's interesting, when it read 32bit I immediately thought it was 3D. 🤔

But is it vibe coded? 😉

Sorry I couldn't stop laughing at a meme of Doug Walker being labelled 'Bald Man Makes 'Hlop' Sound'. 🤣

@iacobus_magnus They were releasing Amiga computers every year. When looked at from that point of view the saturation is why the company ultimately went bankrupt. More company and time spent on those platforms would have made them succeed.

This is really impressive stuff. 😲

As long as you don't want to play Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2 you'll be fine. 😆

Yea, definitely looks homebrew.

Those are some weird choices. 😆

There just isn't enough AA games being made. Studios either can't spend the money or want to go epic with AAA.

@KingMike It's not really a collection without all the 8bit and 16bit games.

Did someone say...Zool?

Still waiting for Mega Bomberman.

Well that took them long enough.

• Inability to take criticism
• Rising costs
• Terrible Discord

Evercade keeps on winning! 😂

Tabletop boardgame? Fans hoping for the General Morden of quality announcements - - > get actual Morden instead. 🤣

@GameManAdvance Explosive after right? 😂

I don't get it. Xbox is capable of this so? 🤔

I hope they pull through. This shouldn't have happened.

@CookieByte Agreed. I think it's a lot of nothing drama.

@Uragaiden I agree. It's hypocritical of him. Maybe he feels this went too far.

Can you believe there are actually some people I've read from that are happy for an all digital media future? 🙄

@Uragaiden Erm...huh?

Wow, that is impressive! 😲

Keeping MobyGames going is certainly important and I also look forward to what Atari Europe does.

Wasn't there some moron on social media that said this thing failed to generate sales? 😆

I thought they already released these on cartridge? 🤔

Without the branding I just don't see the point. Will it be any better than Piko's cheap quality release? No idea but it's odd wanting collector's to go for this since it was already previously released, although not licenced.

AI makes mistakes...humans make mistakes... 🤔

These are important to have. It's not good to rely on just one source of preservation.

Please Sega do a Gen AI toothbrush so it gets covered here. 😊

"I'm working on other things and honestly, I'm happy to be away from the drama. It's an oversaturated market and trying to enter now as a new company would be a deathwish."

Unfortunately there's been too few good ones thanks to LRG. 🤔

Wow, the PC-88 version is bright! 😲

@AnonUser I'm one of the few people who still rents film/TV and I always get discs allocated that have marks to the point they can't be played properly. I imagine a store like CEX suffers from this a lot.

@DadGamerUK Yeah I didn't know the link at the bottom was your quote.

@PopetheRev28 That I understand, I'm not saying if something is only available on DVD we should ignore it but not sure why studios put their stuff on DVD today.

@Damo Oh okay.

@PopetheRev28 I just don't see the value in DVDs when blu-rays and 4Ks do what DVD does but better. But yeah, obviously there's still a market, I just think it holds the newer media formats back.

Beats seeing Commodore branded socks I guess.

"MY WIFE WOULD DIVORCE ME ON THE SPOT"

Not sure where this is from. No source was given in the article? 🤔

@Ruka Agreed. It's useless tat and so what?

@PXAbstraction I very much agree with this.

There's an affectionate term we use for people like Damien, "jammy git". He is so, so lucky. 😲

This is why it's so important to get different accounts of a recollection.

Now this is the type of tech we need more of! 👍

@AnonUser "I never understood disc scratch removers as anyone who actually cares about their optical media tends to take care of it so it's not damaged in the first place."

What about second hand discs?

You should ask him how he feels now @Damo , I wonder if his opinion is different? 🤔

@PopetheRev28 Part of the problem with that is the continuous support for DVDs. Imagine keeping VHS tapes going. People need to be moved onto blu-rays and 4Ks. SD on disc is pointless today.

Hilarious. Just as funny as your Discord mods banning users for no reason and people from your company there making fun of people here. 🙄
