I question re-releasing a game when it's altered so much due to licencing. Then it becomes a radically different game. Might as well call it Hoops Shut Up and Jam. 🤔

Don't care about the AI art, I'm so looking forward to this. Now this ix how you put a retro game vollection together! Let's be honest, if DE put this out it would mostly be inferior Nintendo versions with a few MD ports. Same with QueByte. I'm excited about this for sure.

@Honkshot Nope. The original game was around 8MEG. I'm not sure what lead to the increase in size.

Glad I'm not the only one missing the coin. I hope this can be resolved. A few notes for those interested in purchasing:

• since it's missing the coin anyone who happens to be interested in this be aware when ordering this collectors set.
• the Gremlin book is massive and in depth and yes they do talk about Zool as well as Venus: The Flytrap.
• this is the MD version which changed the Amiga original in certain ways so keep in mind it's not the same game.
• this is called an Archive Edition although I question if it really is since the Chupa Chups licencing has had to be removed. The trading cards are awesome though and 33Games were nuce enough to include actual lollipops with the set.

Was never a big Transformers fan but loved his work on the cartoon and other cartoons regardless. Peter Cullen certainly had the touch. Rest in peace. 😪

@Martin_H I don't objectively think it's the best platformer ever, I'd put Sonic 2 or the original in that spot. However, like Sonic Zool on the Amiga was fast and action packed with various secrets and collectables to get. Nice colourful graphics and terrific music to boot! I hadn't seen anything like it at the time. Some of it is nostalgia but it's a well put together game barring one flaw. Probably the best platformer on Amiga and yes, regardless of what people will say the Amiga did have good platformers.

@CookieByte The sequel could use a remaster but definitely I'd like to see a collection of all the ports.

@CookieByte Zool got spared the Ninjabread Man engine thank goodness. I would love to see a complete Zool collection with all the ports.

@CookieByte Robocod was awesome but the best versions of it were released prior to the PS1 and GBA.

@Kuros THIS is what I mean. Every region has mediocre games. Euro gaming is its own thing and should be respected just as Japanese and Western gaming should be.
