I see nothing wrong with what he's doing other than the the awful poster. At the end of the day you're going to this place to play arcade games. How he manages his business is up to him. The games are what matter.
I disagree with the random comment. I think it's great to see a series expand into spin-offs as long as it's nothing too ridiculous like pachinko machines.
Wait a second...didn't GOG recently vote through their Patron poll that this was going to be the game they remastered/preserve??? What's the point of a Patron poll when the results are what Nightdive are remastering already! Is it an amazing coincidence or are the poll results fixed?!
Why am I not surprised? The trailer has me excited. AI appears to be used not for art but for the processes involved so I don't see the issue. As long as the game is fun and the creativity is there (so not AI) that is what's important. I think the common consumer might not ultimately care, we'll see, but this article is definitely a moth to a flame.
@Quick_Man This is incorrect. The reaction I've seen has been a lot of excitement over the new game.
Not much footage here and from what they're showing off it doesn't really look like a SMS game at all, I agree with @N64-ROX, it looks off somehow but the VHS picture doesn't help. π€
My understanding then is Sega is looking for content creators to join them to market their games. A nice idea in practice although content creators don't speak for all fans and Sega will want a particular type of viewpoint regarding their current state. π€

Re: Commodore's Next Hardware Release Is Dumb, And Proud Of It
@Damo Oh okay, I thought you would follow up on more use of Gen AI. No probs. Thanks for reminding me of the article.
Re: Commodore's Next Hardware Release Is Dumb, And Proud Of It
@Damo You create articles to have a go at people using Gen AI but you seem fine promoting this. All I ask for is a little consistency?

@Damo Your YT channel hosts the trailer for the phone.

@ducttape12 The irony of TE promoting this hasn't been lost on me. π

Ah okay so Damien is okay promoting AI after all. Fair enough.
