Re: More Amico Games Release On Switch & Steam, As The Company Still Insists Hardware Is The Goal

@carlos82 Wow wow, there's some stuff here that is incorrect:

"but it very much became a scam when they realised a long time ago that they couldn't deliver but still kept asking for money."

That's not a scam. The raised financial investment once they realised they would need it. Sure you can argue they did use their budget accurately but that's more incompetence than a malicious agenda.

"and had Tommy making stuff up."

That's him by himself doing that because we know TT exaggerates or overpromises on stuff that hasn't been finalised.

"given they don't sell anything"

Did you not see the article? They're selling games?

Was it really necessary to add a video link to the Bert and Ernie of gaming podcasts? 😆

I hope the console does come out but my issues are too much time has past for it to be a success. Having said that, they do plan on updating the hardware for hopefully when the console is released.

I am glad however that one retro gaming community as well as Nintendo have adopted what Amico was going to do with physical media. Hopefully more companies will catch on. 👍

@Peteykins I can't take any of your comments here seriously. 😂

@carlos82 I got to correct you a bit here. Firstly there's a handful of people still working at the company. Not much I know, but more than just two. Secondly, the console wasn't a scam but through mismanagement and bad luck it hasn't come out yet.

Re: Shuttered Wonder Woman Studio Once Pitched A Big Trouble In Little China Game

"That game, according to the slides Miller published online, would have seen Burton returning to battle the the Lords of Death gang, and sorcerer aliens from space (inspired by Jack's line: "A man would have to be some kinda fool to think we're all alone in this universe."), and would also have featured bullet-time mechanics (based on another classic Jack Burton line: "It's all in the reflexes")."

Okay that sounds really cool! 😂

Re: "The Channel Is Safe. Thank You" - YouTube Retro Channel Slope's Game Room Avoids Deletion

@BryceS76 The doc itself is incredibly flawed. I did try to help provide a more balanced viewpoint but he wasn't interested.

@MegaManFan He didn't con anyone.

"The only good thing to come from that whole mess was the "gaming racists" meme — easily the funniest in a long string of dumb things Tommy said!"

That's not what he meant to say but he was angry.

"HBomberguy's "oof" documentary is TRULY the best thing to come out of the Amico."

Imagine thinking that cherry picked hack job was good. 😂

@Null2 I'm not sure how that's hopping into bed with him. 🙄

It's a really enjoyable, visually spectacular game just like the film. Today due to the design it doesn't look dated either. The story plays out as a Saturday afternoon movie, it's just fun fun fun. I really wish they'd followed it up or shot that as the sequel.

@MikeP I agree with what you said. Also the game is probably the best game based on Tron.

Re: "I Am Petrified" - Retro Gaming YouTube Channel Slope's Game Room Is At Risk Of Deletion

Looks like Google and YT AI took Slope for a ride. Something really needs to be done about that, it's unacceptable. I will say though if you're courting an audience of toxic individuals stuff like this is bound to happen more easily.

@Kushan Ironically Slope has given power to people that have made videos on me that thanks to AI YT do nothing about when reported so it's kind of come full circle for me. 🙄

@Siambretta This probably wouldn't have happened had he checked what he was saving.

Re: This Man Is Buying Commodore

We don't really need more C64 inspired glowing computers. I also don't see how much kids of today could enjoy playing with tech from 1982 over something like Switch. What we need is someone to buy the Commodore rights and make a new computer that can rival in popularity Apple and Microsoft. We need Commodore management to look at what Atari is doing and republish its systems.

@Peteykins How so?
