One common complaint we see on a lot of our Arcade Archives-related stories is that the price of the games can sometimes be slightly higher than some people are willing to spend, especially for many of the simpler, much older titles.
If that sounds like something you've said before, however, it appears you may be in luck, as Hamster, the Japanese company behind Arcade Archives, has just announced a new sale, bringing down the price of 15 classic Namco arcade titles by 30%.
The "NAMCO LEGENDARY 2026 SALE" kicked off yesterday and is expected to last until August 26th, 2026. It applies primarily to Arcade Archives titles for Nintendo Switch and PS4, but also includes Arcade Archives 2 Ridge Racer, which is available for PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S, and contains an exclusive Time Attack Mode (not available on the Arcade Archives version).
