Re: "We'll Never Be Able To Reach That Level" - Final Fantasy Legend Nobuo Uematsu's Reaction To Yuzo Koshiro's SNES Debut

Well, uematsu was always on the cutting edge of composition, not necessarily of synthesis. Koshiro is a genius of both and simply learned how to use the super Famicom sound chip and samples first. Even the ff7 soundtrack is not really that advanced, simply using the ps1’s onboard midi.

I’d love to hear what ffiv sounded like before this happened and they changed the samples. Actraiser is a masterpiece of composition and design, but ffiv is right up there with it.

Koshiro mastered the mega drive fm sound chip too. No one else could quite get to his level.

Re: Poll: How Do You Pronounce "Amiga"?

@NoirConceit well considering it’s a Spanish/Portuguese word, a lot more people pronounce it in the Spanish/Portuguese way. Why would it be a different pronunciation for the computer versus the actual word?
