If it had a wallet and a solid camera i’d be 100% in even with the price tag.

I feel like the Analogue Pocket covers the handheld base. Although i’m curious to see the form factor they settle on that will satisfy vertical and horizontal games.

Ah man, i can’t wait to have 3rd Strike running on my arcade machine. I never really played the game as much as SF2 so it’ll be good to go deep and finally master it!

I can’t tell you how much i want a rerelease of the Analogue Super NT. Not enough to pay the extortionate ebay prices. I just want a brand new one from Analogue. It’s frustrating…

On a side note, i always hated the cover art for RE1 in the UK. The guy looked like Anthony Perkins (from Psycho) with a funny eye.

@PKDuckman Ooh Continental Circus, i loved that game. It was one of the games i used to look for when we arrived at a new arcade.

Damien, probably worth noting that there is a distinction between remake and remaster. Remasters usually fine tune existing assets (making them HD etc). Remakes will usually involve new assets.

The recently released FF7 games have been remade. They’re remakes not remasters 🤓

Perhaps they were just weak ideas? Miyamoto himself has proven credentials in the field of ideas 🤷

I love my PlayDate. It’s a great device to take when travelling. Particularly because i go off-grid when i travel and avoid using my phone. This little retro device, when offline and when there are no distractions, takes me right back to those days when games were simple but sometimes needed a little patience (which is something i lack in everyday life).

Personally i don’t see the need for this. It’s a gimmick. When it comes to gaming hardware, particularly retro gaming, i don’t want gimmicks, just results.

Would love to see some love for Viewtiful Joe 😊

It always amazes me how powerful nostalgia can be. The Jaguar was one of the worst consoles ever. Why would anyone want to put energy into this toilet seat?

I love my Playdate. It’s a great console to take away on trips or holidays if you (like me) go “offline”. The games are really enjoyable and it’s a reminder of how simple and fun they used to be 😊

Hmm this game looks really familiar. I know i’ve never played it but i’m pretty sure the art style caught my eye way back when.

I had a similar experience with physical exercise. Since i started regularly exercising and stretching i’m much more flexible and have very little back pain (stretching in particular is so underrated, especially in our mostly-sitting lifestyles).

@MSaturn If you want to escape the “algorithm” just turn off your youtube history settings. This blanks your Home feed. Then you can just go straight to your Subscribers feed where you get all the new videos from your subscribes i.e. the relevant feed 😊

It irritates me every single time i see the name MiSTer Pi. It’s a great project but to name it such is just going to unnecessarily confuse people… it’s idiotic.
