I always found it impressive how here in Brazil there were so many exclusive things when Gradiente took over the brand until it stopped, I think in 2000, after that we were almost forgotten by Nintendo until 2017, because of the Switch.
I didn't even play the first one, even though I saw the trailers back in the PS2 era and thought it was really cool. There are so many things to play on the PS2 over all these years. I don't know if a sequel would be successful.
In short: I can't buy anything cool because someone on the internet added 2+2 and came up with a new conspiracy theory? It really reminds me of 'Stop consuming Harry Potter because you hurt... people'.
I have an old Artbook (I think it's unofficial) released in newsstands exactly with this theme and it's wonderful to see how cool the artistic freedom that the Japanese (and other Asians) had was. Unfortunately, the world is becoming boring, and if it weren't for Nier, Stellar Blade, Gachas and some Asians games that truly create, we would be left only with monotonous games with realistic stories focused solely on suffering with no fanservice.
Soon will discover that AI was used to decompile the game and start crying 'the port doesn't represent me' or 'I will never play this,' and everyone ignores it and plays anyway.
I have always really liked the idea of the franchise, but it was only common on SEGA consoles and I could never play it. I like the 3D Dreamcast version that was re-released. This one seems promising for mixing everything and allowing you to play with various cute characters. Fanservice is life.
But without a version for Switch 1, I wouldn't play even if you had a Switch 2.
The quality of the models, textures and animations is impressive. WoW 2004 was always praised for being Heavy Metal, Dark and with a lot of Fanservice, but above all for having incredible art and animations like Disney's on the models.
It will always be my favorite handheld console and it's really cool to see Chinese brands cloning the design like the RG34XX, since a refurbished GBA is very expensive nowadays.
If we look in political terms and activism, we know exactly who the people who are complaining are. We should just ignore them, because without AI, I doubt that half of this Ports nowadays would have come out in such a short time.
The human being is a despicable creature that cannot understand the benefit of anything that does not align with their own disturbing interests.
Honestly, this doesn't seem like a false positive. How does a "team" (not to be offensive) like Ayaneo think it's okay to do something like this, especially on the eve of a launch of a hyped smartphone like the Ayaneo Pocket Play? Then some people complain about Chinese spying and say it's an exaggeration. This is terrible for customers who have started adopting their brand in recent months.
Now I will have to wait for Anbernic to make their own Xperia Play Smartphone Clone, because I am not going to pay 500 dollars for something that will be a total part of my life with the possibility of copying everything I do via Android, cameras, wifi, etc.
I really want this, but I won’t have money to buy it because it’s obviously insanely expensive and there will be a HUGE shortage! Where’s Anbernic to make something like this?
I'm amazed at how much this studio has evolved since Mara, which was a very basic game. They literally embraced the style, fluidity, and atmosphere of the 128-bit era perfectly. It's nice to see that they never gave up.
I thought it was awesome. I've had a fat DS and several Lites. I'd play on one of those without a problem. It's literally the original hardware, not another fake. If Nintendo had done just that and increased the screen size, it would sell just as well.
It was so nice to go to a mall and see 14-inch TVs playing Mega Drive and SNES demos in the shopping windows. Going into stores and seeing boxes and boxes of games that I didn't even know existed, because there was no advertising other than magazines, was amazing.
...And Funko is truly a cancer, dull and deformed, that I've never wanted to buy.
I never had the opportunity to play it because it bothered me that it was only about vehicles, like Cowboy Bebop on PS1. I only played Jumping Flash 2. I'm going to lose that prejudice and try to play Ghost in the Shell.
If it's a cell phone, I want it, otherwise it won't be useful to me. I just want a cell phone with built-in joysticks, because that's the only way I'll be able to play on it.
...And if there was a cheap, less powerful model that runs at maximum GBA (perhaps PS1) it would be a 100% guaranteed purchase.
I really love playing Driver 2 on the PS1! This game is magnificent at a time when open worlds like this were a dream. Even though I prefer the technical miracle of the PS1, it will be really cool to see this game running at its best on the Dreamcast.
What a sad thing. I was regretting not having bought the cartridge and I discover that it wasn't such a big loss. Limited Run is "MAKEUP" old hardware. I hope WayForward got paid for their magnificent work and aren't being ripped off for something that in theory they are not to blame for.
After all these years, I think this movie is incredible. Jean-Claude Van Damme instructs the cast to fight "crazy", the incredible Raul Julia embodies M. Bison very well with the lines "For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life, but for me, it was Tuesday." and all that air of films from that time.
That's why I love Retro Games so much, especially on Consoles. It's a CD, DVD or Cartridge with data from that era, running on a device from that era, frozen in time. It's charming!
@Poodlestargenerica I'm not going to vote for Kamala or Trump, you know why? Because I live in another country. Welcome to the Internet. It is not the property of the United States.
I really liked this device because of the GBA and PS1 and the "almost" 4:3 screen. I really want it, but I don't want to stop playing on the original Console because I bought something like this.
Honestly, I think there are good games to be infinite like Minecraft or with mods like Skyrim or roguelike like Risk of Rain 2, but Mario 64 is precisely the type of game that I wouldn't want to remain in an end goal.
The Sonic All Star Racing song that brought back memories, because the track that was exploding and changing course was really good. I wanted a port of this game for Switch.
