@Exerion76 I hit "Don't recommend this channel" and the algo seems to understand that and keee away from those. Also ReVancedXtended and Morphe helps in combating gAI Slop.

@no_donatello A belt swap is easy and replacing bulging caps is a tad bit hard if you're soldering for the first time. If you are soldering for the first time then please do practice first on practice boards also 1.0-1.5 revs of OGBoxes have a leaky clock cap that can kill the console.

I'd be just happy if my OG Xbox that I haven't powered on in a year would still work after I get the tools to fix my CRT and actually fix it. Just so I could play DOOM, Streets of Rage Remake and a bunch of Rom hacks for Genesis, SNES.

Why do these movies no longer feel and look like movies? These look like they're shot through a iphone by a bunch of college students and most of the actors look like they're cosplayers, cosplaying SF characters.

120hz also feels like a waste as most of the games that one would enjoy on these would be old 4:3 games from 5th and 6th gen, which were tied to 30/60 FPS locks, and like 99% of them don't have a patch to have uncapped framerates.

I just bought a second hand Motorola G52, it has SD680 and a 90hz pOLED display for 20$ and I already have a controller. Runs God Hand and Urban Reign at 2x scale just fine.

@hste They won't be here forever. Most sets are already 12-30 years old. Their death rate will only accelerate. Which will make remaining sets expensive. It's why we need some manuacturer in china to build some not-great-not-terrible quality CRTs so hobbyists like me can still enjoy retro games in the future like lord intended.

Man I wish there were a bunch of people trying to revive CRTs too, so that we could play these games on. Shaders just don't do it for me.

Lol I played this game to death with my brother on our malware and virus riddled Pentium 4. Been wondering for a couple of years on about if there was a Open source project to recreate this game so I could port it to OG Xbox.

I still prefer Sony's symbols but ofcourse they'll keep those to themselves. And I hate nibtendo's layout. I prefer Xbox's ABXY where "A" is for "accept" and "B" is for Back. Just like X is for confirmation and Circle is for cancel on PS.

@Magic_Salmon_Pro Google have been slowing tightening and suffocating Android since like Android 10 & 11. On Android 11 you can't even access /storage/Android/data folders. I'm still using Android 10.
