I already got a english patched rom, on my Turbo Everdrive card. And the game isn't that great. It basically feels like a Rolling Thunder rip-off, and I rather play that classic instead.
Remove the City Hunter license, and the game would have been totally forgotten by now.

I recommend to wait for a sale, or try the game on a PC Engine emulator first.

Talk about timing, I've actually been playing through the Maximo games, this week. Still as fun today, even though the camera is a bit clunky in the first game.
I wish Capcom would remaster them, and make a third game.

I got a black one. Don't care about different colors, as it just makes it look cheap.

I'm so damn tired, of the industry and internet drowning in AI slop. There is so much AI music and Star Wars crap etc, on youtube now, that it feel like there is barely any real content left.
If I see a AI thumbnail, I wont touch it.
Got an extension on Firefox, that helps to remove all this *****, but haven't found one for youtube yet.
So, yeah, people are getting tired of this ***** now.

Also, I don't understand, why 3DS consoles are getting more and more expensive. It's not a rare system (like the Virtual Boy) as the 3DS sold around 80 million units!

I rarely collect anymore. ***** like this, is sucking out all the fun.

This is something I want for modern handhelds. Having them fold, to protect the screen, and also being able to have a big screen, and still fit in a pocket.
Switch 2 and PC handhelds, are so damn big, I'm getting flashbacks, from the time I had a Atari Lynx 😂

It's insane how bad all these Japanese franchises, got treated in the videogame world. All Macross, Ultraman, Godzilla games, I've played, have been incredibly mediocre.

If I'm gonna play SNES games on my PC, I'll just play roms. All SNES games are already preserved. Great for transfering savefiles though.

I share the reactions from SEGA.
That was a terrible idea.

This was the result of the old "plastic wrap and thick cream" metod, which even could case problems from the beginning, if not done correctly. There are way better methods now.
I even experimented, with just letting the shell of my yellowed Amiga 500, lay in sunlight for about two weeks, without any added chemicals, which also worked. Not perfect but it was way brighter after the sun treatment.
So give it a try next summer. It's just a way slower process.

I used to own a Super Hang-On cabinet, that I bought cheap from a local shutdown arcade.

It's a show set in an alternate 1987, where dark dimensions and monsters exist. In that world, maybe the NES was more powerful?

Inspired by the classics, sure, but looks too much like a clone to me. It's like they took the enemies from Mega Man, and just did some small changes to them.

They could at least admit, that it was inspired by Mega Man, instead of saying "the classics" 🤣

Every time, something like this is announced, I'm already prepared for it to be dead, within the next couple of years.

That's really smooth and impressive.
Imagine if this was a launch title, for the GBA.

Compared to Thunderforce IV, MUSHA, Gleylancer, Gaiares, and now Earthion, ZDF is pretty mediocre.

The choice of colors, makes my eyes bleed, and hard to see some bullets and what is actually parts of the background or not.
They never listened to the critique of those backgrounds, as it could have been fixed, by reducing the brightness of them , making bullets and enemies more visible at ALL times.

And yes, there is youtube channels, that praise ALL homebrew games, no matter how bad they are.

This even blows away the Mega CD version.
Superb port with fun extra modes, which includes more moves.

I'm so burned out by these things.
It was fun in the beginning, before these companies started to flood the market, with endless re-releases of the same titles, in different forms.
I love Space Invaders, but enough already.

Evercade could take over that market, as Arcade1up never improved their hardware, and kept releasing mediocre products, with terrible screens, controls, and input lag.

What are you? Twelve?

The screen is too small for me. 7-8 inch would be better. The bullets in games like Minestorm is already tiny on the full size screen, so can't imagine how hard it will be to see on 5 inches.
But I hope it becomes a success, so they might make a fill size version, in the future. Hope my original, survives for another 2-3 decades 😁👍

I just couldn't get into the 16 bit euro platformers, due to often mediocre level designs and controls.
Not sure I would change my mind, if I revisit them today.

Yeah, I bought GZT at the same time as I got the Mega CD. So I have huge nostalgia for the game. I'm a fan of Dwight H. Little's action films, from that era, so it felt cool to play the "hero", in one of his "movies". 😁

If we only knew, back then, how rare this game would become. Should have bought 10 copies 😂

Why not re-release Road Avenger and Cobra Command instead. The remaster from the filmelements, for the iphone ports, back in 2009/2010, looked amazing.
And they feel more like actual games (though still limited), and the animation is epic 😁

SEGA did an amazing Choplifter remake, for the arcades and Master System.
We had Vic 20 games, getting enhanced remakes on C64, and then for the Amiga etc. Some were better, some were worse, like those horrible 16 bit versions of The Last Ninja.

So, yeah, this is nothing new.

I hope it's a Intellivision+, or a 5200+.

Hope it's not Jaguar, one of the worst systems I've ever owned. Only Tempest2000 and Iron Soldier was worth playing.

AI is just making ***** up, to fill in the gaps, in missing information...

Just preserve the original image, no matter how low res it is.

Loved the artwork. The boxes looked amazing.
Wish I had kept them all. The only one I have left, is their Barbarian game.
