I'm one of those weirdos, that only buy the retro games that I like and wanna play, and couldn't care less about the value. I miss the 00:s and early 10:s, when you could still buy PC Engine games at fair prices. I also collected arcade games for a while. It's insane how cheaply I could buy PCB:s of games like Final Fight and Truxton 2, back then, but then it got so damn expensive, I lost all interest in the hobby.
If I was filthy rich, and owned a videogame store, then I would sell original copies of games like Chrono Trigger and Earthbound, for $25, just to help burst the bubble, even if I lost money. 😂
I just want Evercade, to go back to what they did, in the beginning. Focus on 8 and 16 bit games, and none of the 3D stuff. And also stick to ONE type of handheld, instead of oversaturating the market with multiple variants.
Got neither Aleste or Zanac feelings from that gameplay. It's just yet another modern bullet hell...
And am I the only one, tired of seeing (and hearing) anime girls in every modern shmup?
Earthion and Salamander III, is thankfully staying old-school.
If you read that whole comment on X, he says he wanna make sure that all the bugs are found and fixed before they make the MD cartridges, since those can't be updated afterwards, like the versions for modern systems.
I'm gonna buy both the Switch, and next year the cart, of this one. I hope it sells well, so he can continue to make more 16bit games, which is his goal.

Re: Here's Our First Look At Compile & M2's New Aleste / Zanac Crossover 'Zaleste'
@Ebb1993
Yeah, but they wont be anime/waifu/lolis, that looks like 8 year olds, that pops up on screen, and scream a bunch of nonsense
😂

Re: Western Fans Can Now Pre-Order The X68000 Z Super And X68000 XVI
@Guru_Larry
Yeah, and then add the customs fees on that...
400 I would have been okey with.

The price is just insane, for an emulation box...
