When I worked at an arcade 20 years ago I always assumed the reason you didn't see any video games with ticket output was that the seconds per ticket value would be way out of wack, even if you were hitting tickets per token.
Clearly so they can stretch it out with 1 Slug per cart for longer. Giving us X right now instead of waiting til cart five or six would get the bean counter angry.
Well I expect we will see those new colorway VS/EXP-R they quickly teased last video. I would love an SNK Alpha as well. Game wise, a second Neo Geo cart and maybe a non-Neo Geo SNK cart showing off their NES days.
@Spacepirate555 the only post I made here was "People seem to have already forgotten the days of unauthorized player's guides done from JPN or media versions. A Derivative Works ownership lies with whoever made said Derivative Work. I capitalized the words Derivative Work because it's an actual legal term and not just a three dollar word everyone glommed onto."

Feels like announcing two years of releases means 4+ carts, maybe a new SuperPocket or Alpha as well. Between 118 AES games and 150 MVS that could be a solid chunk of a really stellar library. For significantly less than a single cart back in the day.

Re: For Over 35 Years, A Sequel To Head Over Heels Has Been Developed By One Man In Secret, And It's Coming To Amiga And ST This Year
Ooooh my gut says that this might be one of the three remaining unannounced Evercade carts for this year. Fingers crossed.

Re: "It's Just Not Working" - FreePlay Arcade Will Close Its Doors Later This Month
@PXAbstracftion And if you don't want to sell food/booze you need redemption games. Those are what made most of the income when I worked at an arcade.
Re: Evercade's Fourth Showcase Will Celebrate The System's Fifth Birthday
Would love to see Turbo/PC Engine games.
Re: Review: Tomb Raider Collection 2 (Evercade) - Diminishing Returns, But Lara's Magic Remains
@DirtyCasual
Personally, I only played 1 way back when and I don't own the remasters so it's an okay proposition on my end.
Re: Limited Run And Retro-Bit Under Fire For Using Recycled Chips In Shantae Advance
@-wc- The best kind of correct is technically correct.
Re: Evercade's Namco Carts Now Work On The VS, Thanks To A Stealthy Update
Just got a new update tonight, and a couple carts that are legacy, no longer have a legacy tag in the system browser.
Re: Limited Run Refutes Accusation It Violated GPL In Tomba! Special Edition
@Twapsel
My biggest problem really, is that once you get through the first jungle bit and find the tower suddenly everything comes rushing to the end.
Re: Limited Run Refutes Accusation It Violated GPL In Tomba! Special Edition
Tomba is so damn good. One of those games where even the demo is a solid play.
Re: Lunar Remastered Collection Uses The Working Designs Script
Boo, random Star Wars references really are jarring in a fantasy game.
Re: New Evercade Update Brings 'Broken Sword' Fixes And A Free Game
Would have been nicer had they admitted it was not correct right away, but at least it got worked on.
Re: What Happens When An Arms Dealer Publishes Your Video Game?
@-wc- the bread is too expensive, and the circuses are going away too.
Re: Sega Almost Sued Atari Over A Terrible Virtua Fighter Clone But Decided It Would Be "Embarrassing"
@Quick_Man Sounds more like it was a case of "This looks so bad, if we said it was based on anything we did; our stuff would be lesser for it."

Re: Blaze Announces Price Increase For New & Existing Evercade Carts
Makes sense, plus it's announced after SNK getting named as coming to the ecosystem this year.
Re: Best Of 2024: The Making Of Nintendo Adventure Books, Mario's 'Fighting Fantasy' Period

Re: Sega Almost Created A Wii Remote-Style Controller For Dreamcast And VR Headset For Saturn
Less impressive than the 3D glasses they actually made for the Master System.
