Y'know the sad thing is there's potential for a good Bubsy game but it seems no one wants to put in anymore than the bare minimum.

Not really. I don't really have a nostalgic connection to a lot of older games, so I play them more for historical purposes; experiencing what those before us played and appreciating what the developers were able to accomplish at the time with the tech they were given.

Great read. Hog Wild definitely exudes a level of Looney Tunes energy that just works with Crash. Makes it all the more frustrating that they screwed it up in the remake.

I'm probably the only one who considers the PSP version the most definitive and that is a cross I am willing to bear

Oh dear god YES. I've never been into these sort of all-in-one emulator handhelds but if all takes to sway me on them is to make a handheld out of a SEGA pad then so be it

Anyways, I've never really lost sleep over not having a Portal 3. Unlike Half-Life, which only seems to get new games when Valve can find some way to showcase innovative game design, Portal has the benefit of having started and ended strong.

I love how some people are going all "what's the point of this???" as if the idea that people just want a fun device that plays fun, unique games is unfathomable.

as for me, I'm very excited for Playdate! It's got my interest piqued in a way that hasn't been rivaled since the 3DS back in 2011. That was the most excited I've been for a game system!
