One of my favorite systems of all time. Definitely will be looking for a way to hook it up to my modern TV once I get my house.

I remember seeing a few years ago at a Retro Game Convention a Streets of Rage 2 hack with TMNT on cartridge.

This sounds neat but again why always make it so you have to download a rom then a patch. Just release it on modern consoles. Not everyone has a PC but would love to play it.

I remember getting this game thinking it was a sequel to Secret of Mana and then being totally disappointed by it.

Why are these fan remakes always PC only. They should bring them out on consoles you know where they started. That and for people like me who want to play them and don't own a PC.

@RadioHedgeFund Breath of Fire is such an underrated series, one of my favorite RPGs to this day. Been playing the first one again on my Switch lately. It's just a shame the series didn't have a life span like the Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest series.

As much as this sounds great, I am not much of a handheld gamer, heck I even play my Switch in dock mode more often. With that said, I definitely want one of the Evercade home consoles. This company over all is a blessing for retro gamers.

I honestly didn't know that. Of course I very rarely played GoldenEye's single player campaign, it was always MP for me.

Wow kinda surprised he was able to get away with treating his mangers that way. The fact that he got physical with them I am surprised no one pressed charges or sued.

One of my favorite Arnold flicks. I love how much he makes fun of himself and other big action stars and movies at the time.

I remember hearing about that when it happened, not sure where I heard it from but my mind was blowen when I heard the news. I was like but they are rivals they hate each other, that would be like Coke and Pepsi merging.

I guess it's so common place now that it doesn't come as a shock to people but back then it was so unheard of.

I played the SNES version a few weeks ago on NSO and it still holds up to this day. More then likely will get this when it comes out as I do enjoy the original.

This is one of the few Virtual Boy ges I owned and probably one of my most played along with Mario Clash and Warioland.

As long as she's not one of those the retro gamers that insists the Wii is retro. Dreamcast and back is retro anything after Dreamcast is not retro.

The best Batman ever. As good as some of the live action actors who played Batman, Keaton in particular, Conroy just nailed the voice, and the attitude not just for Batman but for Bruce Wayne as well. May he rest in peace. Thoughts to his family and friends.

I remember my buddy renting Gex from Blockbuster Video back in the day. Gex's quotes are what made that game.

Tekken has always been my favorite fighting game series. This was an interesting read.

I want tbe home console Evercade console. In fact I think I might pick one up next pay check.

I never knew and always wondered what the N&B meant on the Lego Blocks in Super Mario Land 2. I just figured they were one of the developers initials they put there for some reason.

I remember seeing the advertisement for that contest, although I never entered due to my fear of flying.

If anything I would think if anyone won the contest they got the money instead if the trip couldn't happen for political reasons. Like the person who won that contest from Nintendo Power to be in the Mask 2. Since the movie was canceled they got an amount of money equivalent to the prize.

Kinda surprised Double Dragon didn't make the list. The Master system version is alot better then the NES one.

Castlevania SotN (Series X) It's that time of year again. I decided to do my yearly playthrough of SotN to coincide with Halloween this year.

Forza Horizon 3 (Series X) Been in the mood for a FH game so I figure it was time to go back to this one and finish a few loose ends.

TMNT 3 Radical Rescue (Switch) An interesting Metroidvania type of game. I never played it during the Gameboy days but I am enjoying it now.

Well looks like I will pass on this. Doesn't contain the original games, I won't buy it.

@TheBigK It's just everywhere man. Since COVID started, and now how bad inflation is people are just doing stupid things. It also doesn't help that the police won't do anything. The store I work at shoplifting is such a common thing and happens hourly. And people just walk out with shopping carts full of stuff and we can't do anything about it. We call the police and they won't even show up. It's a sad time we live in now.

This sort of thing will continue to happen till these lazy politicians finali come down hard on gun control. This isn't the wild west anymore where everyone needs to carry a gun on them. Once they figure that out the country would be a whole lot safer.

One of my favorite Mario games to this day. I remember getting this for Christmas in 1992. I wish Nintendo would release Gameboy games on the Switch Online so I can play it again.

I really like PRGE. I was luck enough to go a few years ago and see the Nintendo Play Station, and meet Jame Rolfe (AVGN), Pat the Nes Punk, and a few others. I was able to get a few good deals as well.

Definitely worth going if you ever get the chance.

I wish Capcom would do a Final Fight Collection like they did with the Mega Man games or how Konami did with the TMNT games. I would love to play some Final Fight 2 or 3 but untill get a Super NT, I cant.

I love my Mega Sg, quite possibly the best retro clone out there of the Genesis. I hope I can get a Super NT on the 28th. I have been wanting one of those for awhile now.

I found a loose cartridge of this on Genesis a few years ago at a local used media store. I had no idea a Batman on Genesis existed till that point. Out of curiosity I bought it for $5. When I got home I was expecting the NES game just with better graphics. What I got was a different game but a solid Batman game. It turned out to be my favorite version of the games based off of the movie.

The music is some of the best I have heard on the Genesis and I still remember it to this day.

Glad he finally got it back. As someone who recently had a home broken into, I can't tell you how upsetting it is to find that priceless items were stolen. While it's upsetting if things like TVs, game consoles etc get stolen, those can be replaced. Its the sentimental things that you can't replace that really upsets you.

It also proves that Zelda is not an RPG but an adventure game.

TMNT III Radical Rescue (Switch) I never played this game before getting the Collection. It's a pretty good take on the Metroidvania formula.

Overwatch 2 (Xbox Series X) Been a few years since I played Overwatch and with the release of 2 it sounded like a good time to jump back in and of course it hooked me all over again.

@JackGYarwood Didn't whoever owned the Cabbage Patch Kids line also sue Topps for infringement and that caused them to stop production on them?

I use to have a bunch of the cards. There use to be a corner store near my house when I was a kid and every week with a bit of my allowance I would buy a pack.

But does it play Crysis?

I don't remember Spiral Saga, but I do remember Solstice and Equinox. I rented those games alot when I was a kid from a local video store and enjoyed them alot. I probably would have ended up playing this one as well at some point.

Journey is one of my favorite PS3 games. It's such a great game and playing is one of the greatest moments in gaming.

I never had it nor did I ever know anyone who did. I remember knowing about it but wasn't quite sure how it worked. Didn't really know about it till years later when I heard of Mega Man The Wily Wars was on it and that was the only way of playing that game.

@Muriustar I have bought alot of games for multiple platforms, either cause I don't have access to a console anymore or in the case of the Switch so I can have it on the go.

The big ones are the Mega Man games. I have those on the NES (the copies I had as a kid) then it seems I buy them with each generation of consoles. So I have the Genesis versions, then the ports of the NES versions on 3DS, GameCube, Wii (VC) Wii U, Xbox and Switch.

Then there's Borderlands 2 which I have for 360, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch..

I have Suikoden which was one of the first games I bought on the PS but I never owned nor played 2 due to how rare it is. This will definitely be a day one buy for me. Might double dip and get it both on the Xbox and the Switch.

So it was Nintendo being Nintendo as usually. If we won't bring back our classic games, no one will.

But can it play Crysis?

I called the helpline once as my parents wouldn't allow me because of the price. The only way I was able too was I paid my parents for the call from my allowance.

It was for Final Fantasy III on SNES. I don't remember what the exact problem I was having but after hours of getting nowhere I called and the guy was able to help me in a few minutes. I remember him being friendly and very helpful. I felt special being able to tell my friends the next day in school that I got to call the Nintendo Power Helpline lol. They were so jealous.

No. Retro is anything before PS2. After PS2 I guess modern would be the term.

Such a great game for its time, I actually preferred this over GTA 3. I managed to get the PC version for free years ago when Mafia 2 came out due to an error in 2K's digital store. Also have the Remaster on PS4 and can't wait for Mafia 4.

This game is still the reason I hold on to my Xbox 360. Now that Konami released the Turtles Arcade game to modern consoles, I am hoping maybe some kind of deal can be worked out with Disney for The Simpsons Arcade.
