So many films are still around because somebody kept a film reel they weren't supposed to have.

Game publishers just see video games as disposable not something to be enjoyed years, even decades after the
fact. If Hackers aren't doing what the old guard did with film so many games will just go away.

Some people are missing the Point.

CD Loading opens the floodgates for New Consoles to replace aging hardware. Some people have huge physical collections and just want to play those games off disc.

SNK makes games at a rapid pace compared to the other companies. High Quality at a lower budget.

I think we're more likely to another SNK VS Capcom than we are to see a Capcom VS SNK.

@slider1983 It's really not though. I still had a non standard CPU, only a few games used that Windows SDK. It's just a really good Arcade to home console.

@slider1983 I think the XBOX is really when Modern gaming started. The Dreamcast still has a few tenants of Retro, amazing fighting games, racing games, Jet Set Radio it's a tad overrated but still an amazing console.

Because I prefer it to the Dreamcast. Not that I don't love the Dreamcast. I just love the Saturn more for it's mid 90s Arcade goodness.

The Megasis is getting more exclusives in 2024/2025 than the PS5 is.

And you're not exactly Emulating on the pocket You kind of are but at a hardware level. I've never been good at explaining how FPGAs do these things.
