GIVE ME ALL OF IT and bring Garegga, Ketsui and Dangun to Swtich as well.

Glad I didn't subscribe to their streaming platform. EFF AI

I own a Super Famicom and a Japanese Saturn, PS2,and N64

Switch being region free is exactly why I bought one in 2017

you tell me

GOG being DRM free means those installers are going to be out there in all perpetuity.

@Urr Where were you in 1999?

Two comments in and it's already full of anti xbox propaganda and slander.

Game looked pants, was rightfully cancelled.

NEXT

Oh Child we're not buying it off Ali Express
We're putting it on our Everdrives.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYTOOOOOOOOOOOONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

@Fallingshadow something 3rd strike online also annoyingly does too.

The Dreamcast Version I recall was the tournament standard until the PS2 Version came about. It's the PS2/XBOX version that got de-compiled and is being improved on.

@1040STF Anyone who says this is an elitist snob that doesn't know what they're talking about. PEROID.

This is never coming out

@h3s Most Wiis are probably modded now it's an easy thing to do

@LowDefAl I know copyright law

under US copyright law non profit fan works are permitted.

@Martin_H Under US Copyright law non profit derivative works

that's strike 2

Not because I disagree but because this ish shouldn't be given any attention at all. Especially seeing as this site is based out of Europe.

Retro Dodo isn't talking about it. Maybe I'll give them more traffic....

Non Japanese developers are not obligated to comply with Japanese copyright law.

So were the Clinton jokes in the original Japanese or not? I'm guessing not?

@no_donatello I've since come to realize these carts are more durable than that and they're read only so they won't really degrade.

@no_donatello I made this post 4 months ago...

Might be worth the upgrade

@CookieByte A MS Pac Man Genesis cart arrived DOA once and that's about it everything else I've fixed through cleaning. I do have some Super Famicom carts that need battery replacements though.

@CookieByte 100% it was a dirty or damaged cart.

@missingno_fgc It's anti physical propaganda and who care who makes the Mod Retro as long as it works. Just stop playing games all together the Saudis own parts or all of your favorite companies.

This is anti physical propaganda.

Between this and refusing to cover mod retro I'm getting my retro news elsewhere

Let us not forget Crash Bandicoot was code named "Sonic's ass" in Development

I always wanted a CDX too, and some kind of PC Engine.

The arcade version is already part of Arcade Archives. The PS1 version doesn't really add much to it.

I actually own this one back when I was buying import PS1 games like a madman.

Quake served as a preview of what would be on the Fragile and on that alone Quake has a special place with me.

@Gs69 Use one of those scart cables that does both VGA and RGB on a scaler

Problem solved

Stop acting like Playstation is the only game in town. Nintendo carts aren't going anywhere and it's looking more and more like XBOX is keeping discs around for a little bit longer too. Actual movies and TV shows are still geting releases, Vinyl has been back and CDs are making a Vinyl like come back too.

Truxton extreme is shockingly good not all 16:9 Vertical shmups nail it but this totally does. HUGE improvement from the Demo a year or so ago.

JUST HOOK IT TO MY VEINS

Also if you crave that kind of Rally game on modern hare Old School Rally is pretty good. Just lacks the musical flare of the Sega originals.

I love that of all the consoles it's the Genesis that's actually being pushed to the fullest extent of it's abilities and beyond.

I wonder if that's why we don't see many new SNES games, because there's nothing left to push.

My Dreamcast is dying it's been on life support for a decade

This is HUGE

@Gamecuber I bought my series X Just before Street Fighter 6 came out and Played it almost everyday until I got my PS5 but after a few months with the PS5 I found myself back on my Series X and when Pragmata came out I opted to get Pragmata on XBOX not PS5. Resident Evil Requiem I got on PS5 for the enhancements of the Duel Sense but the other day when I downloaded it on XBOX it looked like a full on Generational leap over the PS5. Disc or no disc, I'm sticking with XBOX moving forward.

@delta7890 I had managed to install quite a bit of DLC when RPCS3 was agreeing with my computer. I haven't used it lately but it seems like they got pretty much everything preserved

Most if not all the the PSN Digital library has been preserved for RPCSX3

@PKDuckman And a storefront almost completely devoid of AI Slop Shovelware so you can actually find the games you're looking for.

Frequent sales
Still uses discs and I'm pretty sure Asha is seeing the dumpster fire on the other side and doesn't want any of that smoke.

The Original PlayStation is still the best one. You break the Region lock on that thing or use an ODE you'll have a library of games you can skip a whole console generation exploring.

After the PS1 Cocky Arrogant Sony started to rear their ugly heads.

Nintendo was right, We can't trust Sony

I'm sick of this "XBOX is on fire" False Narrative.
I don't regret buying my Series X for a single second.
I DO regret buying a PS5 and that was only 9 months ago.

There won't be a Playstation anymore if Sony Ignores us.

Somebody needs to step up and bring the PC Big Box back.

It's ok there are plenty of Indie games that fill the Metal Slug Void.

@YouGotPlayed Blaze is going to fill the void a lot of people are about to have in a Year and a half.

I think by year's end I'll have an Evercade. Maybe even a Nexus. The FOMO involved with Carts and the fact a lot of the same things are on Switch have made me hold off. But this thing is starting to go Main stream so more things might be available.

Could be worse

I'm Very much considering getting an Evercade in the near future as I want to support an eco system with Physical media.

I wasn't impressed by the Demo. has it improved at all since then?

Considering you're basically a 2nd Party Nintendo publisher at this point.

Although Microsoft didi make Halo Campaign evolved being on disc a selling point so that's encouraging.

@slider1983 Some people just never upgraded their equipment A LOT actually.

For some reason their players still work.

It could also be because nobody actually owns DVD as a medium unlike Blu Ray

Although the ownership of Blu Ray might change very VERY soon.

@slider1983 If you collect anime which I do and was seriously considering leaning more into after this week's events, Then a lof of shows and movies are locked to DVD and can only be watched on that format because of licensing hell or the distributor no longer existing.

Solution- Disband and destroy the ESA

Then somebody else got the same Idea and made the Evercade
