What a time to be alive, the golden age of videogaming. I remember buying an import Megadrive months before it came to the UK. It was such a great feeling. Then I bought a Super Famicom when launched. Having these systems with the Japanese boxes was something special. Nothing today compares. Also I got into the PC Engine stuff as well:)

Would love to see Nintendo go back to Virtual boy. Obviously a new system, unfortunately Nintendo are playing it safe now, into days generic ways. Innovation is practically dead.

Can't believe, this isn't coming to console or steam.

Very impressive, just proves what can be done with MSX2.

Would be great to see a dev kit for new PS2 games to made. That would be brilliant, new amazing shmups on PS2, yes please.

This is amazing to see, if Atari had great arcade conversions like this back when 7800 was first released, things could of been different.

Great news, keep this awesome system alive.

Unfortunately I find the screens to small on these units. I had the Capcom one, trying to play shmups isn't great.

The only saving grace is Salamander 3, alot of wasted opportunities. Fortunately I still have a PS2 to play IV & V on. Gradius rebirth should definitely be here. I will still buy for Salamander 3 though.

@Blast16 check out the SA-1 version on Snes, you'll be begging for the slow down lol 😆

@Razieluigi Star Successor what a game, personally this Eternal Guardian doesn't do much for me.

@slider1983 if you live shmups, play the Thunderforce series:)

@slider1983 honestly never liked 2, hated the over head levels.

Thunderforce 6 certainly isn't in the same league as Thunderforce 3, 4 & 5. But it's still enjoyable. But Sega really need to get on with Thunderforce 7

Both amazing games, both titles play to the strengths of there host hardware.

If only, still wish this would of happened, would of made the Snes even more iconic than it is now. Imagine some of the games we would of had.

Purchased last week. Hopefully be with me this week. Still great to have in my Megadrive collection. Earthion will be the one to get when it eventually gets a release date.

Better off just getting a Steam deck, emulation is fantastic on this system.

Unfortunately this won't get a home release.

Said it before, will say it again, the Golden age of gaming. The arcade/16 bit era will never be repeated, what a time to be alive.

Still have my PS3 with a lot of these games on the hard drive.

Yes always wanted a Sharp x68000 but the price is way to much. Unfortunately these new ones aren't much better, very pricey especially with the only option to import. If they can release in the UK at a reasonable price I'm in.

A new Ridge Racer is what I want !!!

Yeah right, the Konix multisystem is releasing next year as well.

Looks stunning, need to download the demo to my Everdrive.

Just release Earthion already, can't wait!!! disappointed the Megadrive version isn't first. I have a Steam deck so hopefully this will be first. I can hook it up to my arcade cab:)

It's so damn good, played the demo on Steam deck last night. Controls take a little while to get used to but when it clicks is fine. Visuals are simply stunning.

I received a copy a few years ago, unfortunately I sold it on Ebay, regret it now.

What a waste of time a retro pad lives or dies by the Dpad. Obviously this one is no go.

Definitely another one for the collection, preordered P47 ii for Megadrive also. Really want Earthion though it looks incredible.

Seeing this makes it even harder that Snes/playstation console never happened. It would of been an amazing system.

@PKDuckman agreed, it's always F**king Metroidvania or a soulslike experience. Just give us proper old school gaming.

Brilliant game, we need more Starfox. Hopefully Switch 2.

Brilliant news, Earthion looks amazing, definitely want the Megadrive version. But thankfully i have steam deck so will be playing sooner than expected:)

@slider1983 so did Europe don't kid yourself. Name an Amazing Euro shooter from the Amiga era that compares to Thunderforce 3,4, Axelay, Gradius 3, Gynoug. Elemental master, Bio hazard battle, i could go on. If you honestly love shumps euro shooters won't be in your top ten I'm sure.

@slider1983 Euro shooters are crap compared to Japanese. Simple as that really, look at games like Project X then Thunderforce 4. Level design, game mechanics no contest.

@Profmcstevie agreed Devil blade reboot is simply stunning. Have it my Steamdeck, it's so damn good !!

@N64-ROX totally agree, typical European shmup. Luckily the Japanese devs saved us from this stuff.

Great system I had one, lack of support killed it simple really. Sony is doing the same thing with VR. They release the VR2 but rely on third party support, certainly nothing AAA from Sony. Unfortunately I bought one, I won't be buying into VR again especially from Sony.

Looks stunning, but it's not going to be something i can realistically afford. Shame Sega never officially released this cool system.

The Steam deck is brilliant, no doubt about it. Hopefully Switch 2 will be even better.
