I just recently started using my =NEW= 2DS XL again. I've been playing Minish Cap. I'll save my game, close the system and go to bed. Then the next evening, I pick it up and the game acts like I didn't save! I had EIGHT kinstone fuses left! I was about to head into the Wind Dungeon in the sky! (I actually played a little of it and got the cape then left) I have 58 Kinstones to do! And it says I still need to do the Castor Wilds/Swamp dungeon!
That'd be nice, except for two little problems. 1: I have no DreamCast And 2: I have no DreamCast. Now, technically that's only one, but I felt it being so big an issue, it needed to be said twice.
***** But seriously, I don't have one. I've never had one. I do want one. But only so I can play Spider-Man!
And I've been hearing a lot about a game called Shenmue so I want to try that one now too.
When looking online, all I find are: Sets that are missing TV wires Sets that are missing controllers Sets that are missing power cords Sets that don't work Sets that are missing the video thing for the controller Sets that are missing memory cards Sets that look grossly disgusting Or Sets that from other regions Or Sets that are from the USA but are ridiculously expensive.
I don't remember if it was my birthday (September) or christmas (December) when I got mine. I remember being handed a gift by my aunt or cousin... And opening it to find a Game Boy game. I was happy yet disappointed as I didn't have a Game Boy. Then mom hands me a present and says" you should have opened this first." It was a Game Boy! I was excited!
I remember being the only kid in school for a while that had one, then someone else brought one in and we tried playing Tetris, yet my batteries were dying. Only got a couple of minutes in.
I also remember sitting at the dining room table try desperately to play TMNT (I believe it was Fall of the Foot Clan) and the batteries dying. I had to turn off the volume and keep dimming the system while angling at the ceiling fan light, trying so hard to extend my gameplay to get to the password. It sadly didn't make it.
@RetroGames Before the first revision, yes it could. Up until the WiiNi it could theoretically play GameCube games, but one needed a work-around as the controller and memory cars slots were removed.
@Time Extension: "A caveat worth mentioning is that the capacitive touch panel on the Flip DS naturally won't work with a DS/3DS stylus, as those were designed with more primitive resistive displays in mind. This isn't an issue when you're merely selecting options or fiddling with your inventory on the lower display, but games like Meteos or Zelda: Spirit Tracks are awkward to play. Investing in an 'active' stylus elevates this issue a little, but these rarely offer the same kind of precision."
Seems like restrictive is better even though it is "primitive!"
ocarina is a simple game. It has some cool moments, but it's mostly boring and empty. I also hate Majora's mask. Skyward sword sucks Twilight Princess is the best 3D Zelda game. WiiU never got it's own Zelda game outside of the NintendoLand mini-game. Zelda 2 and A Link to the Past are the best 2D Zelda games!
Breath was bad Tears was worse!
Tri Force Heroes was unplayable/unenjoyable singly! Four Swords (all versions) is unplayable singly! Zelda 1 is good
A Link between Worlds was okay, but the world was shrunk down a few squares each screen/segment. Not sure why.
Minish cap was fun
Spirit Tracks was bad! No real exploration. Phantom Hourglass was fun
Wind waker was fun but both needlessly long and too short!
See, it was easier to get into industries back then. All phone numbers now are either hidden, can't talk to a real person or someone that doesn't live in the country where you are calling.
"What makes this all the more odder is that the film was actually released in April 2001 in the US, one month after Sega discontinued the console in order to become a third-party developer."
You do know it takes quite a while to make a movie, right? More than the less than a month this paragraph implies...
@RetroGames I hope we can get an update of the first game. Not being able to use the Proton Blaster in the game really sucked! Made the game unplayable/Unbeatable!
@MeloMan A LOT of stuff from this game made its way in to Ocarina of Time. One being: Straying from the path in Hyrule Field (at night) will cause enemies to appear. If you stay on the path, they won't show up.
Played it on the N.E.S.! My best friend and I absolutely loved playing the hidden original Mario Brothers game! I think we spent more time playing that than three! Three was nice, fun and a little hard, just like games should be! Games nowadays leave out the fun!
No, it isn't rigged. Those that can't do it are terrible at games. I'm not good at modern games, but the old games, things like this we're super easy to master!
Not to sound harsh but no one should be donating to help this family when: 1: other families also lost their houses 2: insurance will compensate them completely and this money is just extra on top.

No, my battery didn't die overnight, not that that should matter.
No, my battery is not bulging.
At night the system stays plugged in.

Re: Review: AYANEO Flip DS - A Great (But Costly) Way To Play 3DS And Wii U In 2024
Is the last one a type-o?
"Storage / RAM / Price Options
7840U 16GB / 512GB ($939)
8840U 16GB / 512GB ($979)
7840U 32GB / 2TB ($1169)

7840U 64GB / 2TB ($1439)
7840U 64GB / 2TB ($1479)"
Should that be 8840U?
Re: Review: AYANEO Flip DS - A Great (But Costly) Way To Play 3DS And Wii U In 2024
What's the difference between the 8840U and the 7840U?

I agree that pro sports ball players shouldn't get the pay they do or the perks of being famous for hitting a ball with a stick or other.
I'm not a sports ball fan at all.
I've been playing video games since the Atari in the 1980s.
