Blaze recently held a special event in London to promote its forthcoming Evercade Nexus handheld, and one of the big pieces of news to emerge was the fact that three more Neo Geo Arcade packs are on the way.
Sadly, we couldn't attend the event (we went hands-on with the Nexus a short while back), but someone who was there told us there was mention of a trio of new Neo Geo Arcade carts on the horizon.
Upon hearing this, we subsequently reached out to Blaze, which has confirmed this to be the case.
We currently have four Neo Geo Arcade cartridges in the Evercade library, so another three would bring the total to seven – which would, you'd imagine, cover a lot of the best games in the console's arsenal.
The timing arguably couldn't be better for Blaze, as Plaion's Neo Geo AES+ has just been delayed by almost a year. That makes the Evercade family of systems one of the best (and cheapest) ways to reconnect with the Neo Geo library for the time being.
