@Sketcz This is what gets me. There are so many people who are either too young to read/write or are poorly educated.
There is also, of course, trolls and bots programmed to grift.
There is also brain rot. People are quickly becoming too dependent on AI to write for them and when they see a well formulated comment, it hurts their brain to read such perfection!
Surely this person uses AI! (even though they do themselves and hide it to appear smart)
AI is causing a strange sickness.
It's not people's take on generated art or writing, but instead encouraging real human people to downgrade themselves so that their art/writing is not seen as perfect, lest they be suspected to be AI.
In the next decade, there will be a substantial decline in human intelligence and more dependence on AI than ever before.
We are actually devolving as a species and these low IQ slugs are trying to take us with them. It's going to be a crime to appear smart!
There is a massive witch hunt towards anyone in the art and writing community, accusing them of using AI (this also includes established artists and authors).
So does that mean that ever since the invention of GenAI, nothing is original? Every idea was originally AI and no one has any artistic ability or creative vision anymore?
Just because there's this magical GenAI that can generate anything for anyone, that does not that mean every idea, every drawing, every story written, every word spoken was first conceived by AI.
We have our own imaginations and don't need to rely on machines to think for us.
It's not just AI that has been destructive, but also this paranoia that has affected people's minds to what they see!
@GgGames Just wait until those Data Centers are built and then they rack up the electric bill and make you pay for it. Another word for it is technofuedalism.
I remember back in the day that the reason why many people (other than young gamers) bought the PS2 was because of it's DVD player.
In early 2000's, DVD players were new and expensive. A Playstation console that could play both movies and games was a good deal. This is one of the contributing factors why the PS2 sold so well.
I remember getting a lot of criticism at my first day job for not playing original Playstation since I grew up with the N64. It was a rather silly debate to me, so I was not bothered by it, but it looks like some people didn't grow up after all.
@jesse_dylan I used Android handhelds because of it's reliability with Pokemon rom hacks using RTC. Linux can do this too, but it's limited and not always accurate.
I suppose don't update them when the change goes through or find a way around on not using the google playstore.
So glad I cancelled 2 of my orders 6 months ago during the Tariff scare. Since then there's been no real images of the product! This is literally Vaporware.

Re: "We Appreciate Your Patience" - Analogue Insists Its FPGA N64 Is Still "On Target" After Numerous Delays
This is just my prediction.
They won't ship Q4. There'll be an unexpected delay of some kind and it will be pushed to Spring 2026.

Re: Google Could Be Killing Android Emulation With Its New Policy Update
Welp, I guess I won't be selling my Android handhelds or update them. Linux handhelds on the other hand, are going to boom in sales.

I was so close to pulling the trigger on this game cart but decided not to in the end. I narrowly dodged a bullet there >_>
Re: This $75 Handheld Could Be The Best Way To Emulate Nintendo DS In 2025
Wait, I thought Drastic was pulled from the Google play store and now it doesn't exist on Android?
Re: More Analogue Pocket Editions Are On The Way, And They're Based On The Game Boy Color
I just love seeing Analogue Pocket models that I will never own.
Can never get one in time because of all the scalpers!
