Always did like how this was a 4 player co-op game on NES, when even Konami could only manage 2 player co-op in games TMNT 2 arcade/TMNT 3 Manhattan project that were designed to be 4 player co-op, even on the SNES they couldn't do more then 2 TMNT turtles in time,Sunset Riders
I mean it might be worth it if they included Daytona, Virtual Racing, Rad Mobile odd they picked Rad Rally cus that's basically a reworked version of Rad Mobile made to be played as a 2 player muitplayer game, it's not really ideal for single player
@Fighting_Game_Loser Well they did include the Genesis port on the Mega Drive 2 mini, I know that's not the ideal way to play it, remember reading M2 considering making it a Sega Ages before Virtual Racing got picked, sucks cus after their port of Out Run I think they could of done something amazing.
As nice it would be to have 90's Sega back there's no way a modern Sega World would work, they lack the games that made it great in the first place, not even gonna start on Sonic becoming great again, a lot of Sega's own arcades are struggling in Japan even closing down despite Arcades still being a thing over there, it would take more then a politician "promise" to bring back Sega back to it's prime, unless he's got a time machine there's no way.
I mean what's wrong playing Mario Kart Wii on dolphin? Or better yet a actual Wii? Btw anyone remember Mario Kart Wii nearly getting a port on Nvidia Shield in china?
@AnonUser It really is, tho I think Mario 64 DS is even better the new levels, unlockable Luigi, Wario, extra stuff added to existing levels and thankfully that's being ported to pc soon, would love to see Nintendo try and remake Mario 64 themselves again seeing how we got Zelda and Star Fox 64 remakes, there's just something so grand about Mario 64 later games kinda lack, odyssey was close tho.
@AzzurraIrisLeaMonde If Sega Pico can run Doom then so can a stock Mega Drive since there the same hardware, Wolfstaitin has been ported to Mega Drive well enough but without the 32x add on I dunno if Mega Drive/Pico can do Doom.
If people actually care about the game there either go for the better made translation or better yet learn the language to enjoy it in it's original form the game's developers intended.
@Daggot What has Ai got to do with this? Last I seen it's always been humans making stuff like this for older consoles to see what if it can run a certain game it didn't get back in it's prime, never forget how great the Wolfstaitin 3D Mega Drive fan port was, showing it was possible.
@mjparker77 You must have a lot of money to throw around lol Mame isn't hard to set up at all and basically has every rare arcade game you could ever want the only stuff that's a little tricky to emulated is the 3D Konami stuff stuff like GTI Club Thrill Drive series, only just found out Konami tried to make their own house of the dead thanks to Mame but everything else is perfect, more often than not already mapped to a controller and ya not paying 15 dollars on each version of Space Invaders lol that should of been a collection like N64-Box said, plus you got stuff like the Ridge Racer Collection which puts Hamster to shame https://youtu.be/7nxOMwqbM9k?si=bd2vQ5hRD1qEOK29 not only is all Ridge Racer games here in wide screen and online races, there adding other rooms like Ace Driver games and even Dirt Dash Namco's take on Sega Rally with the same features when Hamster finally catch up and release the other games I mentioned your looking at over 100 dollars for the same thing but without wide screen and no online multiplayer again what's stopping Hamster offering these features when fans can do it all free and faster? Other then Hamster being lazy and greedy?
@OorWullie Don't Warner bros own it along with the mortal Kombat games? Think last time I seen it is the Wreck it Ralph movie, the Mega Drive port was basically arcade perfect 👌
@Allnightgaming People will keep complaining to the clouds, thing I find most funny is that I bet most of these people complaining wouldn't of even played this game if it had nothing to do with Ai anyway.
@mjparker77 Actually it is a hamster problem, considering how much there charging for the rom, the controls ain't set up properly by default and again no online or any extras perhaps a brief history of the game, man I miss Namco museum I ain't paying $15 for a rom with no extras lol when Mame exists
@axelhander Funny tho without AI we wouldn't have video games, think about it? outside pong where it needed two people to be played, rivals/enemies/allies you name it, now all of sudden AI has gotten clever gaming people are thinking it's the end of the world...when it comes to copying people's work that's basically what a lot of humans did in the golden era of gaming, from artwork, sprites, music to ideas, it was the worst during home computer scene and the 80s. maybe we should just ditch gaming and computers and go back to good old board games, anyone up for dungeons and dragons?
@mjparker77 Properly don't help due to Hamster's pricing being expensive for each rom, love how they charge $15-17 for a 3D Namco game often with issues still and no online mode alot of these games were build rather playing with others Meanwhile a company like M2 would add online support or better yet actually port the game to new systems the SEGA M2 ports they done were some of the best, Fantasy Zone 2 getting a whole remake using the arcade board from the 1st game, then ya got the SEGA 3D Classics, again the arcade stuff being ports with new features to keep you playing meanwhile all Hamster do is stick the rom on a release sometimes with issues and call it a day, I love it how the stuff they did before like Mario Bros, Donkey Kong lack certain dip switches that change the difficult meaning your stuck whatever Hamster set it to rather letting you pick it is 'your' machine they added it to later release but never patched it in the older ones like I mentioned nor remove the message "do you want to connect to the internet?" No I just want to play some Mario Bros during a short work break I haven't got internet here a lot of their releaes are rather questionable sure it's nice to get some obscure games but at the price they charge with the lack of features hell I would love if they include the flyer or something to show the history of the game your playing, it just feels like playing a random rom especially with the lack of side art/boarders, these are both something you can get on Mame for free and other collections for better price, I used to love Hamster but honestly I just feel there getting cheap and saving my money for other companies that actually put the effort in, plus there's always cool people creating greater emulation for free, I mean why would I pay $51 for 1/3 of the games you can get on the Ridge Racer Collection for 360 for free? not to mention updating the emulation, online multiplayer support and even adding more games, I nearly bite for Ace Driver but $17 for one track, no online multiplayer and no music during the race is a rip off *and what I seen the driving controls are messed up well done Hamster lol I'm thankful for having the arcade version of Ridge Racer but really Hamster is just taking the biscuit now lol
