Sigh. Getting the feeling this will follow in the steps of Duke 4ever where Duke was just obnoxious. In Duke3D he was just a fun pastiche of 80's and 90's action movies, but in Forever they just made him super sleazy and gross.
Last time I saw this the vibe was completely off from what Simon The Sorceror was. It looked super cute and sweet. Simon was a snarky arsehole, not a cute cartoon kid.
@Azuris Streets of Rage Remake is great yeah, but that is more the exception than the rule. Didn't much care for the TMNT game, felt more amateur by comparison. Quantity over quality. Going with the NES sprites was a bad move imo. But I get why they did it, much more to choose from and much simpler to edit to create new chars. Just not a good feeling beat'em up I think.
Most of these fan "reimagenings" or "improvements" or fan games just seem so slap dash. Just throwing in characters from different games with different art styles. It just looks so amateur.
I like Sensible soccer, but this guy has been trying to recreate the magic for decades now, with Sociable soccer getting it's first version in 2017 and not exactly setting the world on fire and now going free to play. Can't say I'm optimistic.

Re: Duke Nukem Co-Creator Responds To Adi Shankar's Claim That His "Dirty" Duke Is "Now Canon"
Shankar seems incredibly insufferable. I want to say he's behaving like a 14 year old, but that would be an insult to 14 year olds.

Re: It Looks Like We Could Be Getting A 'Snow Bros. Classic Collection' For PS5 & Switch
Please have the Genesis expanded port of Snow Bros from the original devs!
Also please come to pc!
Re: Sega's Altered Beast Gets A Free Fan-Made Remake
Looks pretty amateurish to me. The original has a very clear cohesive art style to it. This does not.
Re: Castlevania-Inspired 'Lady Dracula' Promises A Transformative Take On The Classicvania Formula
Doesn't look great really. Visually it looks a bit amateurish with the weird character and animations.
Re: This Explosive New Racer Hopes To Be The Next Great Successor To Micro Machines
There are so many off brand Micro Machines by now another one isn't really that exciting.

Re: Amazing Footage Of An Unseen Four-Hour First-Person Build Of Until Dawn Surfaces Online
Just skimmed through it, but hat looked quite impressive for a ps3 game.
