I learned of this last night and to say I'm gutted is an understatement. It's my go-to and has been for a long time. It's always had exactly what I've needed and I've sang its praises on many occasions. I can only hope it can be saved as I really don't know what I'll do without it!
I want to update my 3D to this firmware version for these features but I've read o quite a few users who've had controller issues, specifically lag, after updating. And since controller lag can kill a game I'm hesitant to do so.
@Sketcz I wouldn't say the da level is easy per-se as some sections require precise accuracy, but it doesn't deserve the notoriety is has. With practice its perfectly beatable with not a ton effort or frustration. That's one part of the game that never bothered me and I could never understand why it did to so many people.
I've only ever been able to make it to the Technodrome once when I was younger. I somehow made it to Shredder and promptly got my rear end kicked inside a minute. I've never made it back there since in other playthroughs. Its something that I still think about today, all these years later and still want to complete but I don't know if my mid 40's reflexes are sharp enough.
I can't say I'm shocked about this, (although still rightly annoyed), as Americans always have and always will, think they are the centre of the universe and everything revolves around them.
This is a scandalous practice. If they're going to take media away from me that I've purchased, then I want my money back on everything the instant its taken away.
Oh man, I'm gutted for him. Mine disc games are boxed and stored in the loft - its the only place I have for them but disc rot is often at the back of my mind.
@smoreon Well I currently have JP and PAL game saves on one memory card and US and PAL on another and I don't have any issues. I've never had to reformat a card either so all this is news to me.

Re: Talking Point: What Was Your First Animal Crossing Game?
GameCube Animal Crossing was my first. Ordered it and a Free Loader as it was a US import from an advert in the back of a gaming mag.
Something around 10 months later it was given a PAL release and I never bothered with that but knowing the prices of PAL AC these days, I wish I had!

Re: Analogue's FPGA N64 Is Shown Running For The First Time
That's it? Barely 10 seconds of it and no actual proof 1080 is running off that system.

Re: Need Another Excuse To Own A Playdate? This Adorable Owl-Themed Platformer Should Help Swing Things
I'd love to buy a Playdate but when it wants to charge me just over £60 is postage and tax, it hasn't got a chance of me buying one.

Re: Review: 8BitMods MemCard Pro GC - A Next-Generation GameCube Memory Card
@KingMike It's an off the shelf PAL GameCube that hasn't been modded. I do use a Freeloader disc to load the US and Japanese games though.
