Re: Anniversary: 25 Years Ago, Nintendo Put SNES Games In The Palm Of Your Hand With The GBA

25 years old, still going strong and still incredible today. I'd love to see Nintendo re-release this into today's market, exactly as it was 25 years ago, to see what could be done with it on an official scale. I really think it'd make waves again and really upset the industry who currently spend obscene amounts of money on IP's nowadays. Cheaper games full of creativity again and of course, fully physical with GBA carts.

I remember buying from Lik Sang too!

Re: Community Challenge: Can You Overcome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Deadly Technodrome Level?

FatPlumber

I've only ever been able to make it to the Technodrome once when I was younger. I somehow made it to Shredder and promptly got my rear end kicked inside a minute. I've never made it back there since in other playthroughs. Its something that I still think about today, all these years later and still want to complete but I don't know if my mid 40's reflexes are sharp enough.

Re: Talking Point: What Was Your First Animal Crossing Game?

FatPlumber

GameCube Animal Crossing was my first. Ordered it and a Free Loader as it was a US import from an advert in the back of a gaming mag.

Something around 10 months later it was given a PAL release and I never bothered with that but knowing the prices of PAL AC these days, I wish I had!
