@Stwert I have around 30 releases from LRG (maybe more because I have lost count) and I have never had a problem with them.

Maybe because I know I had to wait long time to get my games and that is ok with me as long as I get it.

LRG is the only place to get games that will NEVER see a physical release because the original publishers/devs do not want to pay for the manufacturing, so it is passed on to us, those who want to pay.

@Stwert I am using LRG just for the releases they make. No other publisher will make Castlevania games, DooM games (on the Switch) and Divinity Original Sin 2.

If we have more publishers that are not releasing just indie shovel ware it will be good, but that is not the case.

If a company have the right to release a physical edition of a game I really want I will get it

Nowadays the hard part is to find the right TV AV to HDMI converter that does not stutter or have huge input lag to a modern TV

I have to pay 20% more for imported electronic stuff in my country. Things like smartphones, PCs, consoles. In the stores everything is the US price + 20% on top.

It sucks but ... that is the economy.

I just have a separate sd card with Windows and I can dual boot. The only thing I have to do is restart the Deck.

There are amazing controls options out there.

Isn't this controller terrible for the first person games like Quake and Turok?

I am playing with the dpad for directional movement and the stick for looking. I have no idea how it would work with this one.

As a big Castlevania fan I was a little disappointed.

Pros: It has Belmonts in it.

Cons:
1. Farfetched slavery story that was dull and boring.
2. The artistic choice of 5 frames per second fighting scenes.
3. Aztec Olrox? Really?

This is cool but the Steam Deck with its pricing, repairability and support is in a league of its own. So we can't even talk about rivalry here

Gaming is an expensive hobby especially for physical collectors like me.

It is not a right, it is a privilege and we have to pay for it.

If people are thinking it is too much there are other options:
1. Wait for a discount.
2. Haggle on the second hand market.
3. Become Jack Sparrow if you know what I mean

I have the RG151 and I was disappointed because StarCraft 64 had graphical emulation issues.

Retroid Pocket 2+ is the way to go

It is too expensive for what it offers in terms of gaming.

Better to spend more and get a Steam Deck.

I have changed the batteries on many of my cartridges (GB, GBA) but this device is a nice addition!

I think that the Retorid Pocket 2 is amazing!

Everything up to N64/PS1 is playable

I want a resurrection of my favorite franchise but I am afraid that someone will butcher it like they did with Resident Evil 5 and 6.

Retroid Pocket 2 is currently the KING of the retro handhelds for under 100$.

Why not? It is a niche market for collectors

As long as you make sure your consoles are clean and in good environment (not hot or humid) they can outlast a human lifespan.

Of course on modern consoles you should change the thermal paste once every 5 years.

Most of the things in the photos look like neglected consoles. Just learn how to open them and clean them every 4-5 years. Do not keep them in humid and hot places.
Also the nirmal stuff like do not drop them, spill water on them etc.
That way most consoles will outlive lots of people.

I was amazed by pokemon when I watched the 1st episode of the anime. Many years later I found out about the games and now I can't get enough of Pokemon.
