It may be an stupid idea, but i would love seeing Bitmap Books tackle the Atari Jaguar, it's history and the games someday. Still, the PC Engine book looks real nice, but i will still argue that the Metal Slug book might be their best work to date!

Legend is a pretty decent game. My dad (RIP) played it via emulation and enjoyed it. I still wish that Conan demo Arcade Zone was working for the Atari Jaguar surfaces one day. The game looked extremely promising with its huge sprites

Those that say that Nintendo is the only one that matters are completely in the wrong. Looking, reading, playing and learning each gaming platform under the sun will give you a very broad overview of the gaming landscape up until now. Everybody has learned from the efforts of another. Look at Nintendo for christ sake! If it wasn't for the ColecoVision, we would have never gotten the NES.

@MetalGear_Yoshi I already said it on My post. Evercade hired an artist who uses AI for the key art of the Duke Nukem remasters.

Well, i don't like being a bearer of bad news and especially on this site, but apparently people on Twitter immediatedly spotted that the cover art for the Duke Nukem 1 & 2 Remasters is a product generated by AI.

The quote retweets that i've seen are frankly vile and malicious behavior. Threatening Tim with robbing his house just for a video game. "His safety be damned, i want to play the game", that must be the mentality some of the people quote tweeting him have.

Apparently, from what i've read online, the Game is using the Scorpion engine.

Since we're talking about the XBAND, i gotta mention the excellent documentary by Wrestling With Gaming, featuring interviews with former Catapult Entertainment devs who worked on the service back in the day. Great article as always

Seriously, that Scorpions engine for the Amiga is very impressive. The equivalent of the Mega Drive's SGDK.

@BulkSlash To be honesto, the game's mix of 2D and 3D reminded me of Dolphin Blue, which which is currently the last game made by the Metal Slug team after the original SNK imploded in 2001-2002. So, it has been more or less 21 years since we have seen any Nazca member make a Metal Slug successor.

@mike_intv @RetroGames I'm confident we'll see a SNES port of Xeno Crisis sooner or later. Keep in mind that Bitmap Bureau are a indie team and they are likely making these other ports as exercises to learn the hardware of each platform.

They are dead serious in porting Xeno Crisis to whatever console is capable of running it! They also confirmed in a magazine interview that PS1 and GBA versions are nearing completion, and BB are eyeing other platforms as well.

Here are the remaining vintage consoles (that i know of) that can possibly run Xeno Crisis without mangling Henk Nieborg's artwork: Amiga, Atari Falcon, 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, PS2, Xbox, SNES and PC Engine.

I bet if Sailor Moon reaches Arcade Archives, that would sell really well. Banpresto also has other non-licensed games such as Air Gallet and Gundhara.

This looks like it could be possible either on PlayStation, Sega Saturn, or hell even the 3DO or Atari Jaguar (but with compromises).

This is the kind of stuff i want to see more on Time Extension. Great article

Good to see they recovered the Game. Although it's weird they haven't released PowerSlide on SNES despiste Elite expressing such interest. That Game was also planned for 3DO, and i think Elite also has an unreleased Jaguar CD version of the infamous Virtuoso. There are plenty of interested parties to publish their titles

This game always reminded me of Baldies on the Jaguar CD and PS1. Would be extremely cool to see that one remastered as well, as it is a pretty good game.

Jokes aside, i hope someone who has the elusive but unreleased Jaguar Voice Modem comes to Rich in order to implement it into the emulator, given that Ultra Vortek is the only officially released Jaguar title to support it.
