If you use AI to "code" you aren't a "coder" or a "software engineer". To be one of those you need to be able to actually code and understand the code you create.
You know what? It's not worth it. Clearly some people can not accept that they are behaving in a manner that others find objectionable. And their recourse is threats.
I would suggest that some people are "irritated" because they are uncomfortable with their lack of basic empathy for those who suffer at the hands of SNKs owners being so publicly shamed.
It's easy to say "I don't care about XYZ" until someone else points out the bad things you "don't care" about. Then it gets awkward. It makes you look... cruel.
But hey, shouldn't lecture people about their choices, right? I mean, what has that ever achieved? It's not as if pointing out facts can change people's opinions is it?
@Sketcz If I was to stop reading this site, it would be because of the pathetic, childish rant that the site editorial team decided to delete that you left earlier calling those of us who disagreed with you "sanctimonious virtue signallers".
You don't get to "play nice" now. We see your moral emptiness, and your "me, me, me" attitude. You don't care about who is behind what you buy, or what abhorrent things they do. As long as you get yours, right? That's all that matters, yeah?
There are bigger, and more important things in the world that any one persons "personal joy". But I don't think you quite understand that, do you?
"Don't bring politics into gaming! Gaming isn't political!"
Erm, yes it is when countries like Saudi Arabia (who have a terrible human rights record) start to buy into the gaming space. Ever hear of a thing called "soft power"? It's how countries buy influence, often through seemingly innocuous ways, like SA buying games companies, or China building vital infrastructure in impoverished African nations.
Politics affects every single aspect of our day to day lives. Anyone who says they "don't do politics" is a liar. The tax you pay? Politics. The countries you buy stuff from? Politics. The media you consume? Politics.
Not everyone likes to feign ignorance and allow themselves to make choices without considering the moral implications of them. Some of us are actively engaged.
Oh, and to those looking for a "politics free" gaming site.... good luck. Most of the one that claim that are almost always made by and for those who think "Gamergate" was a fuss over nothing... and that is most definitely a political position.

Re: "There Is Light At The End Of The Tunnel, At Last" - Commodore Might Be Reunited With The Amiga Soon
1: I'm glad you are using his proper name, not "Peri Fractic" (So unprofessional when he uses that in official Commodore stuff)
2: Good luck to him untangling the Amiga rights.
Re: Commodore's Next Hardware Release Is Dumb, And Proud Of It
@Guru_Larry I believe they want people to use the curated "CommoStore" to buy and download approved apps.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Buying Commodore's Callback 8020 Flip Phone?
If this had been announced on 1st April, Commodore would be getting praise for a bloody good April Fools prank.
But, it wasn't. And it isn't. I certainly won't be buying one. And anyone who does... well, I would worry about them, frankly.
Re: Commodore's Next Hardware Release Is Dumb, And Proud Of It
@Guru_Larry most of these manufacturers will heavily customise the phones (including the OS) if you are ordering in bulk.
This Commodore phone is a generic device with a custom OS. Easy enough for these company's to do.
Re: Commodore's Next Hardware Release Is Dumb, And Proud Of It
@Guru_Larry I don't have the exact link, but it seems to be something like this one with some customisations:

Re: Commodore's Next Hardware Release Is Dumb, And Proud Of It
@Damo fair enough.
I'll be shocked if it isn't a generic, cheap Chinese made handset though.
Re: Commodore's Next Hardware Release Is Dumb, And Proud Of It
It's already been identified in AliExpress. The basic version of this £500 phone can be bought for £25....
So much for their promise to not just slap the Commodore brand on cheap tat from China....

Good.

@Sketcz You got what you wanted John. The comment is gone. So let's be adults and draw the line here.
You won't agree with me, I won't agree with you. That's that. No more threats.

It's truly sad and pathetic.

@leogames free speech for me, but not for thee.... Quite a common approach from those who push the "cancel culture" narrative.
Re: Talking Point: "We, The Consumers, Need To Vote With Our Wallets" - The Moral Dilemma Of Supporting SNK In 2026
@leogames he's suffered "cancel culture" so much he still has a platform providing content for websites like this one. Soooo cancelled....

@AllieKitsune Well, someone thinks they do. Whilst also judging others for their views ("Sanctimonious virtue signallers).
But I expect that from people like him. Thin skinned and self centered.
