@h3s where does it end and who draws the line? Currently, I’d say it’s lawyers and the video game companies have better lawyers than we do.

People seem to be forgetting some emulators CAN be illegal because if they are bypassing encryption.

@slider1983 people typically seem to try to become YouTube stars and influencers as a last resort because they're not cutout for other things. Their line of "thinking" is sometimes not thinking at all. This guy can be Exhibit A.

@DanijoEX-The-Kumiho yeah preservation isn't innocent in a lot of case. In this case, the clown was trying to make a lot of money, and in doing so, may have lost all of these games for good.

In all reality, who is going to play this for more than 5 minutes for the sake of nostalgia?

It looks great, but the fps issues are concerning.

@retrophilion I doubt game key cards are going anywhere unless you go all digital so prepare for a rough-for-you future.

What “custom hardware”? Nintendo had the SuperFX chip. What did Sega have?

Star Fox may have been ground-breaking in the graphics department, but the game was, and still is, extremely overrated.

It's absolutely fascinating to get a glimpse at how others think. Good interview. As I've said elsewhere in the comments, I barely pay attention to music in video games and typically tune it out. In the past, when I was a kid, I would turn the music off because I HATED in-game music.

Mega Man is such an awesome character. Too bad the games are "Nintendo hard" and too difficult to be any fun for long.

@DanijoEX-The-Kumiho I love music. I just don't like digital music without vocals. Some video game soundtracks are catchier than others, but I've never fallen in love with any of them.

Bummer. I’m not into horror games, but this looks pretty slick.

Thankfully we had a time when those games could be made. Today, the smooth-brained people would say this game is offensive simply because attire.

Alwa's Awakening - The 8-Bit Edition is awesome! I’m currently stuck and unsure of where to go next, but I love playing it on my retro handhelds. I hope this game is released as a ROM as well. I play games on emulation handhelds far more than my PCs these days.

Sega is trying to be Nintendo in releasing the same rehashed stuff over and over again. Only EA and Nintendo seem to get away with this.

Comparing Sega to rock and roll is fitting because both have fallen out of popularity.

I’m honestly not sure how Sonic was ever popular. The character is kind of cool, if trying to hard, but the original Sonic the Hedgehog game was boring and that’s pretty true about every Sonic game since.
