There is the partnership with the Polymega team, and they are working on a digital store front for legacy games. Maybe these acquisitions help create a team in charge of digital preservation/porting/whatever? It could be a great thing.
The books are great. These are filled with not just technical retrospectives or reviews, but essays, personal accounts, the impact and realities of titles, etc. It is a real high-end magazine-like experience. I've got a couple of their hardcover releases.
Shipping can be an opportunity for US buyers, but as a UK-based team, it's a good price and understandable. They don't control shipping costs, so it is a bit unfair to hold that against them.
I loved S3. I loved the look of the game, the character models, the pacing, the story. I also went back into the world with the TokyoPop manga series. I'd love for a modern way to play this (as well as 4, T, and 5)
@MSaturn The books are all Fair Use classifications. I rebranded the first book from "Capcom's PlayStation" to get out of some obvious legal areas. I actually sent the first to one to the US Copyright office and got it registered, sharing I don't have the copyright to the screenshots, but to the construction and written work within.. I am not using anyones logo's or branding, and the screenshots are just a small sample of the games basically for review purposes, so it seems to be all clear.
You can also get the digital copy, or physical copy, as an add-on for the Vol 2 Kickstarter, too.
It is a ton of work to do, but it is really fulfilling and rewarding. I am motivated by milestones and progress. I self-taught myself how to use InDesign for the construction of the book, I have some basic Photoshop skills, I feel I can self-teach myself a lot with internet access. Learning along the way and scrapping and rebuilding it did happen, but it turned out awesome and set me up to make an even better follow up.
Reach out to me on social media if you ever get around to wanting to put together your book. We can exchange emails and I would totally share what I did and how I did it, and help in any way.
The GBA, come on! It not only ended up with versions of Nintendo’s best SNES games, but amazing originals from the big N and the 3rd party support was wildly amazing!
SNES or Switch are solid #2’s, but no way, #1 has to be GBA.

Re: Random: Did You Spot The PSP In Madame Web's Trailer?
I think this is the 5th, because there is that Kraven movie that’s delayed.
