@shiningpikablu252 This was actually quite important at the time. Contemporary games like EverQuest had both a price for the game plus a subscription. And the price of a PC of course.

I'm an old fart so I'll say old fart things: I don't think many realize how much of a game changer PSO could have been. No subscription, running on a cheap console off dial up. There was nothing like it really.

I feel for him and hope there’s a way to fix this. But blindly exporting data from a shady source into a cloud provider is extremely, supremely dumb.

@Sketcz it was quite good for interactive installations and the like. I worked quite a bit on that and it was a nice piece of kit for the price.

Never thought it was a good game controller, though.

For those wondering, Russ from retro game corps has asked manufacturers and they claim that domestic market is much bigger than the USA one. So I really, really doubt you'll see these manufactured there.
