Eh, there's no denying that 'The Battle of Olympus' is a great game, but it falls short of Zelda 2 especially where combat is concerned. In Zelda 2, once you get the handle on how fighting works it is incredibly satisfying, but unfortunately for Olympus you're better off just avoiding most enemies unless you're grinding for olives.
Hell, you can't even hit the little blue slimes at the very beginning of the game unless they jump, or until later when you can hit them with the arcing fireballs...
Once again, it needs to be said that as utterly bizarre as the actual commercial was, it's also what inspired my mom to purchase the game and thus directing the entire course of my life.
What the hell is with the timing of this article? I just dug up my old PSP while cleaning out some closet space and noticed that the battery had fallen out, and no matter how hard I tried I could not get it to stay in the battery slot. It's nice to know that is is a common issue, and what the cause is.

The game looks f-ing great, just a fresh coat of paint was all it needed. Day 1 purchase for sure.

The illustration of the prince whipping Zelda while the evil wizard comes out of his shadow always kinda freaked me out as a kid.
Also makes me wonder if the shadow you fight at the end of the game is supposed to be him?

I've played this game a lot. Yeah, it's no GoldenEye, but it's still pretty darn good and has a fairly robust multiplayer.
And it's LEAGUES better than the PS1 version.

Believe it or not that "Zelda? ZELDA!? ZELDAAAAAA!!!" advertisement is what inspired my dear mother to purchase the game.

I loved this game but yeah, passwords only working on "Children" difficulty was beyond stupid.
Over the years I have come to prefer the Japanese version of many games simply due to being the "true" experience over butchered localized versions.
