Re: This Man Now "Owns Commodore", But His Use Of Generative AI Has Some Fans Worried

I worry that the retro community is becoming increasingly toxic.

Gate keeping, purist elitism, hostility toward modern reinterpretations and hoarding collections for clout (to name but a few), has started to become a problem for a few years now. Some groups/individuals are worse than others.

What was once a welcoming scene has started to develop some less than charming traits.

I understand how TimeExtension likes to keep readers within the site when adding links to the story. However, it would be nice and helpful to both Retrotink and the reader if the link 'Retrotink' lead to the Retrotink's website rather than another Timeextension article article.
At the very least have a link to Retrotink's website at the end of the article. Nowhere on this page is there a direct link to Retrotink's site. This isn't the first time I have noticed this inconvenience to the reader on this site. It's quite annoying and counter to the conventions on other websites.
