@Sabin10 Do you mean in the picture above? It doesn't look like any Master System 2 I have seen or used. The power button is in the wrong place and the bit below the cartridge looks like the power and reset area of the Master System 1. Those controllers are wrong too. It looks like it's hinting at being an MS2 in the picture but they didn't want to infringe on any copyright.
I worry that the retro community is becoming increasingly toxic.
Gate keeping, purist elitism, hostility toward modern reinterpretations and hoarding collections for clout (to name but a few), has started to become a problem for a few years now. Some groups/individuals are worse than others.
What was once a welcoming scene has started to develop some less than charming traits.
I understand how TimeExtension likes to keep readers within the site when adding links to the story. However, it would be nice and helpful to both Retrotink and the reader if the link 'Retrotink' lead to the Retrotink's website rather than another Timeextension article article. At the very least have a link to Retrotink's website at the end of the article. Nowhere on this page is there a direct link to Retrotink's site. This isn't the first time I have noticed this inconvenience to the reader on this site. It's quite annoying and counter to the conventions on other websites.
Seems to be NTSC games. Maybe not a problem for PAL games as they have different cases and NTSC games won't work on a PAL machine which hasn't been modified and if you have a modified machine, then might as well have put an ODE in it.
Yeah, this was the first system I bought day 1. Although, I don't think it released in UK until a month or so after 9.9.99. I got a the light gun with house of the dead 2 and Sonic Adventure with mine
