Almost two years after its original release, the 2021 reimagining of Gremlin Graphics' Zool, Zool Redimensioned, is finally heading to the PlayStation 4 (as reported by VGC and Push Square!)

In case you're unfamiliar, Zool was a platformer that originally came out on the Amiga in 1992 and notably featured product placement from the Spanish sweets company Chuba Chups.

It was later ported to a range of other machines and consoles including the Acorn Archimedes, Amiga CD32, Atari ST, Game Gear, Game Boy, Mega Drive, Master System, the PC, and Super Nintendo.

In 2021, a group of young apprentices at the Sumo Digital Academy, along with the publisher Secret Mode, released a surprisingly well-received reimagining of the title for PC, which included new secrets, challenges, and achievements, as well as modern quality-of-life improvements. And now it appears that Secret Mode is bringing that version of the game to the PlayStation 4 with a bunch of new local multiplayer game modes thrown in for good measure. These include new party games like Zool’s Gold, Rool of Zool, and Ball Brawl.

You'll be able to download the game on May 16th, 2023, but for now, why not check out the trailer below:
