It is the coolest game. I'm a big Space Harrier fan, and Night Striker was another favorite by extension. I once beat it with one quarter. Even got the Saturn import. Love the music too.
It was cheaper for me to get my hands on an arcade version and games. The consolized MVS was popular back in the day too. I wish the cartridge formats were the same, but I guess they didn't want gamers snagging the arcade versions or vice versa.
He makes it sound like you just plug the GB rom into the emulator and it poops out a GBA looking game. That's not going to happen. Someone's at least gotta figure out what color everything needs to be. Im sure it makes it easier, but each one is still going to take a lot of work.
I'm always pointing out that coders mostly just steal other people's code from libraries or substack anyway, so what's the difference? This just automates the process. Don't waste your time reinventing the wheel.
My daughter doesn't appreciate subbed anime, but when I change the soundtrack to English, and it doesn't match the subtitles, it bothers her even more!
@CopyX1982 I got one about 20 years ago. The sound system is surprisingly good. There weren't many games, and most I didn't really click with. But from what I remember, they're all public domain now. The homebrew is rreally good though. I really like the Defender clone. The CRT glow is really its selling point. I dont see how they're going to replicate that with a digital panel.

I doubt its a FPGA that only plays NES. Maybe a RGB kit?

I played this at a Dave and Busters in Austin years ago. Was a blast. I guess they don't have it anymore?
