I loved this shop. I was thinking about it today before I read this article. I remember going here in the 90’s in the hopes of buying Pokémon for the gameboy (before it became popular in the west!).

I managed to get a copy of Pokémon blue and I realised today that it was the first print with some odd errors on the back of the box (refers to itself as Pokémon red and references sandshrew despite it not being in the blue version).

Anyway, I loved that shop. It was incredible. Staff smoking in the store way after that was ok.

Great news! Imagine if the person working on this fixed the diabolical 2 frame walk animation. In fact, if they’re reading this, I’ll do the animation!

I got the email too. It’s an absolute travesty. Now I have to wait another month to play some 30 year old games.

Wow! My first job in the games industry was being a tester at Gizmondo. Crazy times!

I always feel like analogue get a lot of hate but their products (to me, at least) always feel exceptional. The super NT and mega SG are my favourite gaming machines and the quality of these machines is excellent.

From one gradius loving brother to another, you can set up a usb stick (I had one of those super snug little one lying about) and create a folder called DVD and place gradius (and potentially other games that might not run atm) and run it through OPL. Gradius runs flawlessly from the USB stick

@manksalot @manksalot I wonder if you could answer a question I have regarding the Bitfunx card. I have it and I can’t seem to work out how saves work. It seems to save fine in the game but when I reload the games there are no saves.

This looks pretty awful. I hate the way the track bends out of sight. If you include other cars on the track it’s going to be horrific.

I absolutely despise the character design. It makes me utterly sad to see stuff like this. There should be an outright ban on this kind of cringe furry art.
