@Lanmanna M-DISC is marketed as having a theoretical lifespan of 1,000+ years and should, at the very least, last hundreds of years. It will outlast any hard-drive or standard discs you have and won't be susceptible to hard drive failures or disc rot. You will have access to its contents for your entire life as long as you have a drive to read it. If you're very serious about preservation, it's the way to go.

@Por-E-Gone It might share the AUD port. You can do composite video + stereo RCA audio over a 4-pole 3.5mm jack.
An SCART adapter would be another possibility.
But I don't understand why you wouldn't have an actual composite port for something like this.
