@no_donatello There are many reasons. 1) The Switch has a higher attach rate than both of those consoles. 2) Nintendo games now don't get cheaper after a few years anymore. 3) Digital games sales didn't exist back then to the same extent they do now & Nintendo makes far more of those than physical sales. 4) Subscription services like NSO didn't exist back then. I'm sure there are other reasons I can't currently think of as well.
