@drypaphmrbro Tommy Tallarico was the person behind the failed Amico project. Tallarico was once well respected, having been the composer for a number of well known games. He also had success with live video game concerts and ran several successful kickstarters (some of which I backed) for recordings of that music. So with his track record many retro games journalists were excited about the prospects of him resurrecting the Intellivision. Unfortunately he clearly bit off more than he could chew and instead of reducing the scope to something manageable, he instead kept on promising more and more. Eventually it all collapsed. Slopes, and other journalists, were criticised for not holding him more fully to account in interviews, which perhaps resulted in more people committing their money. Slopes eventually created a long video explaining the scandal, including his own part in providing a platform for Tallarico. https://youtu.be/8BgAarlzVD4?si=TGA2K_VmKlvp094L

Re: "I Am Petrified" - Retro Gaming YouTube Channel Slope's Game Room Is At Risk Of Deletion
@Slapshot 3-2-1 principle. 3 copies, on 2 different forms of media, 1 in an off-site location. Never trust important data to a single backup.
