Oh man, this is a biggie! Does this complete the tragic trinity with Dolly Parton and Tim Curry? I loved Pirates of Dark Water! Cool to see that get a shout-out. I had no idea he voiced Eeyore for many years and Monterey Jack in Rescue Rangers! This is a real shame. RIP and condolences to those who cared about him.
I mean, obviously. He only has 4 fingers on his hands. Dead giveaway.
The real question to me is, are we really interested in 12 different versions of the 4 old games for this series? I've never played any of them, in fairness.
@KingMike I think it's especially weird, because they've done these sorts of workarounds for other games. I'm trying to think of an example. I think the eReader stuff for the Mario Advance games is one? I feel like there was a Zelda example too. It's a small thing, but it's a bit of a shame.
I first played this with an emulator. Gulp But I loved it. The progression of it was really addictive and great, as I recall. It's been a long time, and I've wanted to check out the new one. Shame it's not as good.
The original things are creepy. Peppy's close to Donnie Darko's Frank.
I loved the Muppet ones. I agree, @breach187 , it would be an amazing art direction. Embrace the "Thunderbirds" influence, go all the way! And we should see the next game in about 10 years!
@jesse_dylan Oh, he's a scumbag? Yikes. I always enjoyed the original game. Though I found it extremely difficult. I guess I was also like, 6 or 7. I never played the second, really.
This is a cool idea! Though if it's going to be some of the hardest gaming feats of all time, then I probably can't participate. I've never played Battletoads, but the sequence in the video looked pretty tough. Especially at the end, as was said! It's on NSO, right? I guess I could try it.

Re: Here's The First Trailer For Golden Axe's Animated TV Series, From The Creator Of Star Trek: The Lower Decks
Okay, so this is a sort-of self-aware goof. Hmm. Sometimes that goes too far. Not sure about this. It could be a good time.
Although honestly, hearing Keith David kind of makes this worth it. Of course he's playing the panther guy, but whatever. He's so great.

Weird that they didn't try to make it work somehow for NSO.
