I started playing Armored Core 2 Another Age when I found it in the bargain bin, without any context or guides, stumbling into solutions to missions through persistence and creativity. I was hooked.
I've played and 100%'d the PS1/PS2 games and AC6 since Although I skipped the PS3/360 gen games, and never beat Ninebreaker to my shame. Last Raven was difficult but compelling, and there was something about the carnival games framing of Ninebreaker that required extremely specific builds with no room for creatively that bothered me too much to finish. Of the games I've played, I'd rank Ninebreaker lowest With AC6 the highest, followed by Last Raven, then AC1, Phantasma, MoA. I'm a bit fuzzy on where the rest would land.
