Microsoft working with SEGA on one of the Dreamcast’s OS didn’t stop them from releasing the Xbox 3 years later though but the deal (software not hardware) was certainly less restrictive.
PlayStation having no « cool » identity of its own, needed to buy and lock down everything from third party studios, unlike SEGA and Nintendo who built their own universes. It was a toxic era, even though I loved it. Games, including Wipeout 64, were amazing.
Using AI to replicate the voice of one of the most famous French dubbing actresses is beyond stupid haha. They’re probably not even French and just assumed she was some random dubber from 30 years ago when in fact she’s still very active and well known today.
I do love the remasters though even if they broke the reversed camera in the first trilogy with the latest patch and never bothered to fix it.
The ridiculous price of that official VB device plus the fact you’re forced to rent the games will make the whole thing pointless in a decade or two. What’s the plan when Nintendo decides to shut down the rental service? Because you just know they will. And of course, they still refuse to let us actually buy Virtual Console titles on Switch.
Honestly, emulating VB on literally any VR headset is way more comfortable than paying a hundred bucks for that thing… and at least you’re not chained to a membership.
Anyway, almost nobody will play these games for more than 20 minutes each.

Xbox AND Sega layout.
As a SEGA fan, I vastly prefer this layout.
Anyway, I prefer open source retro systems for obvious reasons.

Re: Have You Checked On Your Wii U GamePad Battery Recently?
I replaced mine before it could happen a couple of years ago with an unofficial one that last MUCH longer than the original battery.
