Re: A Decompilation Project Is Currently In The Works For Jet Set Radio Future

There’s a widescreen hack for JSRF on the original Xbox but unfortunately it’s pretty buggy. On Xbox 360 the game looks a bit cleaner but it’s less stable. Still very playable, though.

Like practically every og Xbox games, it runs at native 480p so I still play it from time to time on my original Xbox.

Such a great game ❤️

I really miss the 3D effect. That’s one of the reasons why I considered the Switch to be a downgrade regarding many features of the 3DS instead of a real evolution (no 3D, no street pass, no 3D sound, no dual screen, no backward compatibility, bland menus, online membership…).

However, it seems that the majority of people… disliked the 3D screen?

Re: "Justice for Lost Odyssey" - Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Director Wants To See The Cult Xbox 360 JRPG Remastered

@Xerox1919 I somewhat agree. I found Expedition 33 pretty average at best. Tons of rpg clichés, an empty world, boring locations, confusing, predictable twists, slightly pretentious and that weird feeling of playing a « fake Japanese RPG » mostly made by French people that screams « we’re French, bisous baguette » every five seconds (I’m French myself).

Technically it’s not even that impressive imo… It honestly looks like a AA-budget indie. Definitely not what you’d expect from a true AAA production.

The game is okay but it’s so overrated it’s unbelievable. Lost Odyssey destroys it in almost every aspect (music, world-building, story, cities, battle system…) and… it’s 100% Japanese.

Re: Tomb Raider Voice Actor Takes Legal Action Over Alleged AI-Generated Vocals

Sindayl

Using AI to replicate the voice of one of the most famous French dubbing actresses is beyond stupid haha. They’re probably not even French and just assumed she was some random dubber from 30 years ago when in fact she’s still very active and well known today.

I do love the remasters though even if they broke the reversed camera in the first trilogy with the latest patch and never bothered to fix it.

Re: One Of The Virtual Boy Games Coming To Switch Is "Worth $10,000"

Sindayl

The ridiculous price of that official VB device plus the fact you’re forced to rent the games will make the whole thing pointless in a decade or two. What’s the plan when Nintendo decides to shut down the rental service? Because you just know they will. And of course, they still refuse to let us actually buy Virtual Console titles on Switch.

Honestly, emulating VB on literally any VR headset is way more comfortable than paying a hundred bucks for that thing… and at least you’re not chained to a membership.

Anyway, almost nobody will play these games for more than 20 minutes each.
