I can’t get my head round Daytona champ edition made it in to this list. The 2 things they got right in the 1st conversion (music and playability) completely butchered in this game. This was so disappointing at the time
@Ninfan hello there. When I wrote the comment, it was an on screen keyboard, and re-mapping keyboard keys to the controller buttons on a separate game menu (before loading the game)
But sinse then, I recently lent the A500 mini to my brother, he managed to connect a usb keyboard and had that working ok.
Like the first C64 Mini, the keyboard on the A500 mini is not functional
My Dreamcast struggles to read discs most days. It’s very hit & miss. I still have my Dreamcast games. Excellent library. Still waiting for my Polymega delivery
@Orokosaki I have been keeping an eye on Polymega over the last year. The only real negative I have seen is people complaining about is high price. The system itself and in particular the OS has had mostly positive feedback from what I have seen.
Some people will see value in this. I for one do see the value in this product (I am not an expert in all things emulation, but I have a large collection of SNES / Megadrive / Mega CD / Saturn EU & Jap / PS1 games. Where my original systems no longer work. I also have alot of N64 games, a few 3DO games / Atari Jaguar games, these could potentially be supported in the future) I also have limited amount of space, that makes this system very appealing. But to each their own
@MrJK I have the mouse working ok, but I can’t remember how I got it working.
For the USB games, select the game with A, but instead of starting the game with ‘Home’. Press Menu to remap the controls (this is how I got most games to work)
I got the A500 Mini a few days ago. I still own a lot of Amiga Disks, so I have no shame in adding titles I already own. Truth be told I still haven’t played the games that are preloaded. I been playing Cannon Fodder, North & South, Lemmings, Shadow of the Beast, Defender of the Crown, Batman the Movie, Hunter. I would recommend this to anyone who had an Amiga
I am interested in a Polymega, I have a huge library of original Mega CD & Saturn games in EU and Japanese. This is a convenient way of playing old games. My Mega CD V1 with 32x is a nightmare for plugs (they are huge)
I never pre-ordered, but I am very interested in this, I have a retro collection of many systems and games, most of which are boxed up due to lack of space. This would be very convenient
I have Rondo of Blood on Wii U and also the PC Engine Mini. Excellent game, would love for this to be released on Switch, along with SOTN, that I have never played
I am now gonna have to buy an Evercade
But would really want these on Switch. Will be interested to know if the ‘Bomb the Bass’ soundtrack is included on Xenon 2
Edit: commented before fully reading the Article. No Amiga versions is a big mistake
On the Saturn side, will this run Japanese and EU? I have loads of Sega Ages Japanese Saturn Games, but I haven’t got a Japanese Saturn. I had a cartridge converter but it doesn’t work. I also have a Saturn Japanese Chase HQ and SCI on 1 disk. Really want to play these.
Thanks
I had a lot of these games on the Amstrad, So long ago, I can’t remember if these were £1.99 like Mastertronic Games. Absolutely loved Super Robin Hood (had speech, which was always impressive on 8 bit)
I would be interested to know what year of NBA players this will be (preference would be 1996, like the Saturn TE NBA Jam) I would love for Arcade 1UP Arcades at home, but would not have room for them - though I would make room for the Star Wars 1UP Arcade. Sega need to add GA2 to Sega Ages. Come on, Chop Chop
@Mr_Pepperami ha ha, I have a Jaguar with CD attachment all boxed in my loft. Those designers sure had a sense of humour to put something in the market that looks like a toilet seat lol
I had the 32x with the MD/MCD1, loved Star Wars Arcade, and VR, although the uk Plug situation was a nightmare - you needed 3 of the big Sega Plug Adaptors, that were too big to plug in next to each other on a 4 plug extension
I always remember the Gryzor Art, as it reminded me of Predator. I didn't realise the same guy was responsible for so many different game covers. A real talent

@StuartGipp lol. Just going to play darts on my PSP

@Verg brilliant
Re: Channel 4's GamesMaster Reboot Has Found Its Presenter
@Verg they could have had a new feature “Karl’s video game diary” with weekly updates
Re: Channel 4's GamesMaster Reboot Has Found Its Presenter
When I saw the picture, I thought it was Karl Pilkington. That would have been funny, now I’m deflated

Re: UK Legends The Bitmap Brothers Are Joining The Evercade Lineup
@datamonkey from what I remember the Amiga had better Sound than the MD Version.
Edit: Did not read the above post before I replied. Doh!
I still have the Game Boy Advance version of Speedball 2, and they sell Ice Cream

Why Sega cannot release these games individually on Switch as part of Ages line baffles me
Re: Polymega's Launch Is Delayed Until Early Next Year
@Damo in your article you have relegated Saturn to “much more besides”
Blasphemy.
😢

I wonder if 1UP will ever get Daytona? A 1UP Arcade with a Steering Wheel, Gear Box, Pedels. With Daytona and Sega Rally......
