Ugh, buyer beware. The Gamebaby is a compelling idea with unworkable execution. Phantom presses, poor response, and lots of bought and paid for review content on the internet telling people otherwise. I bought an earlier iteration and straight up threw it in the trash. There are videos showing that the latest version, while improved, is still really only good for JRPG-style control. Nothing fast or precise.
@NoirConceit just calling out in this comments section that I appreciate how TimeExtension will stop reporting on ModRetro because comments aren’t allowed on the original article.
But I also wanted to weigh in on this article separately.
Literally just commenting on this article (because comments are locked on another article) to thank Time Extension for having a moral compass and say that I’ve now subscribed. Please teach Retro Dodo how not to lick boots.
To come back to topic, I always thought Knuckles Chaotix’s tether mechanic was a profoundly stupid idea that completely undermined the nature of the Sonic series, so I’m glad someone finally came around to try and fix it.

@MontyMole Yeah it looks and sounds awesome but it’s useless.
