I beat the SNES version using Save States at every checkpoint a couple months back and that was challenging enough. I'd never played the series before so I also did Double Dragon, which was 100x better. Battlemaniacs (at least on SNES) feels like a bunch of muscle memory challenges beyond level 2, except you'd have to start the game from scratch every time you lost enough lives. I can hardly believe anyone beat this games on the original systems, but I know for sure those who did were in the minority.
@Tyaku It can be as promising as VR, but not more so. At the end of the day, both will go as far as they're invested into. Comfortability is the onky drawback for VR and that can always be innovated upon. I love the new 3DS XL because it tracked my eye movements, but initially turned the 3D off on the OG 3DS XL models. This is an example of investment and improving upon the technology that worked wonders. I guess implementing it into perhaps the Switch 3 would be the ultimate!
The Quest 3 is a fantastic VR as well and it's too bad Sony didn't try harder with their VR2 game releases or offer a wireless streamed option.
@Tasuki But, how did your friend get caught with it? Unless it's a sting (Which is rare and wouldn't work if they plainly titled the videos) then someone had to be suspicious or check everything he had, making it suspicious also. I know someone who had CP - They got caught because they were cheating on their partner with a waaaay younger girl (Just about legal). She then checked his eMails and found transactions. When I thought about ot later, all his girlfriends looked very petit and younger than they were, too.
It's hard to have something like that by mistake and the first thing any normal person would do is report the Torrent in question, as it could be verified easily that it was in fact a mistake if things aren't labelled for what they are.
