Miyoo Mini

The Miyoo Mini is one of the most popular emulation handhelds of recent memory, largely thanks to its appealing design and tiny form factor – it really is small enough to slip into your pocket and is capable of playing NES, SNES and Game Boy titles (and much more besides).

Combine this with its low price point, and it's little wonder it flew out of stock whenever any became available. Sadly, as we reported back in February, problems sourcing the superb IPS screen for the Miyoo Mini forced its manufacturer to abandon production, instead focusing its attention on the larger Miyoo Mini Plus.

However, it would seem that there's a light at the end of the tunnel for those of you who loved the smaller Mini – a post has appeared on Twitter (thanks, Retrododo) which shows the Mini being tested with a wide range of new displays, presumably to pick a replacement supplier.

It's therefore looking likely that the Miyoo Mini will make a return, albeit with a different screen. There's no word on when this new model will appear, but we'll update you when that changes.
