The world of super-fast, powerful chargers is more exciting and fast-moving than you might otherwise assume, with new products hitting the market on a yearly basis, offering better specs, swifter charging and many other bonuses.

However, while most chargers look pretty boring, the Shargeek Retro 67W Charger is a retro tech lover's dream. It's designed to look like a classic Apple Macintosh and comes complete with a screen which displays 'Matrix'-style animations as the charging cycle progresses, as well as giving you an indication of the current output of the charger.

It's a dinky little thing, measuring 57x39x41mm, but is packed with all kinds of cool tech. It supports multiple fast charging protocols (PD3.0, QC3.0, SCP/FCP, Apple 2.4) and boasts safety features such as overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, and overheat protection.

There are three USB-C ports on the top of the charger, which each offer 67W of power on their own – that's enough spark to fully charge a MacBook's battery in two hours. If you're charging more than one device, then that figure drops down accordingly, going as low as 15W.

We'd recommend you take a look, not just for the fancy design but also for the small size and powerful charging. The Shargeek Retro Charger is currently available on Indiegogo for as little as $39 / £31, but the full retail price will be closer to $80.
