Channel 4 has confirmed that a new series of GamesMaster will air in 2023, following the success of last year's reboot.

The channel is currently looking for brand partners to sponsor the show. Last year, Meta Quest was the headline partner.

2021's reboot of GamesMaster was hosted by Robert 'Rab' Florence (of Consolevania fame) alongside – Frankie Ward and Ty Logan. It has not yet been confirmed if the presenting team will return in 2023.

Channel 4's sales team, which is the source of this news, has confirmed that last year's three-episode run – which was broadcast on E4 and the E4 YouTube channel – generated 152 million total impressions "across all marketing, social digital and linear channels."

The aim now, Channel 4 claims, is to "bring GamesMaster to an even younger audience, people totally unaware of the brand heritage on 4." This "all-new take on GamesMaster" would see a stronger focus on social media, "turning it into a gaming ecosystem on C4's social platforms."

"This means we would still bring the entertaining gaming challenges, the nods to some of our most loved games and the unapologetic celebration of the very best of gaming culture, but we would be doing everything with a young, social-first audience in mind," the statement adds.
