you missed at least one! as well as the gremlin poster, there’s also a poster visible behind his monitor that’s for the game developer Bullfrog Productions, which was also popular at the time — its blurry but identifiable. it might appear in higher definition at another point in the ep but i saw it at around the 20 minute mark.
also in the bit about computer exchange you mention that charlie brooker used to do adverts for them— i feel like i have to mention that those adverts were the “here’s toby!” cartoons and there’s a poster with toby (of “here’s toby!”) on it on the wall of the computer exchange. additionally you mention that charlie used to write reviews for pc zone, which is of course true, but something neat i noticed is that the issue of pc zone that gets given to cameron in the beginning (issue #20, november 1994) is an issue that charlie brooker not only wrote reviews and drew a cartoon for, but its cover feature (the system shock review) was actually written by him! which i think is interesting : - ) edit: please dont turn that emoticon into an emoji…
2nd edit: OH GOSH ONE MORE THING. in the “special thanks” section of the credits, richie shoemaker and paul mallinson are listed! both were reviewers at PC Zone and also worked on the magazine’s editing staff during the time that charlie wrote for it
3rd edit (last one i swear): also charllie brooker confirmed in an interview with a relative of jon ritman that colin’s last name is in fact a reference to him 👍
