Handheld manufacturer AYN has announced brand-new hardware in the form of the AYN Odin 3 Portal. The announcement was made on the company's Instagram and Discord, but most details pertaining to the handheld remain under wraps for the time being.
The announcement was accompanied by a splash image showing the new model along with a tagline of "Flagship Power. Precision Control. Your World, Your Way". Commenters have already noted that the new model looks incredibly similar to the Odin 3 and Odin 2 Portal, which launched in 2025 and 2026, respectively.
Clearly, AYN are not making big moves with its aesthetics, but we'll all have to wait a little longer to see what's going on under the hood.
Incidentally, you gotta appreciate the moxie of announcing a new emulation handheld on the day reports come in about the Entertainment Software Association calling for investigations into the market.
