@Sketcz Man, you must not be a preservationist. All of these games are so important to Nintendo's history, and having played through all of them, it's amazing to see a side of the N64 we didn't have access to upon release. The 64 DD is so fascinating to me. Although Doshin had a gamecube release, the N64 original is truly something and feels like a different game to me because of the hardware limitations. Also the Mario Artist series is actually incredible to toy with. Long live the 64DD.
Incredible interview. Episode I: Racer was one of my favorite releases for quite some time, and made the summer of '99 (along with the entire rollout of Phantom Menace) something truly special. I remember it being absurdly hot in my un-airconditioned room and opting to not go outside whatsoever for a few days just to really soak up this remarkable game. The team did an amazing job bringing the center piece of the movie to life. Such a fun read and trip down memory lane, thank you!
